When you see New York Strip on a menu you expect a nice piece of steak. 3 Adults ordered this in our party and were surprised to get a piece of roast beef 1/4 thick X 3" X 7"...I can honestly say my "Beef"was barely warm next to the equivelant of 2 ice cream scoops of cold mashed potatoes and 26 cold long string beans. My meat was so tough that the butter knife they provided would not cut through the gristle. The 3 year old child received a bowl of Macaroni and Cheese which was hot and a glass of milk for $27.99. The service was average considering gratuity is already part of the bill and there is no incentive to be better. I'm disappointed in quality of the food that is offered in the Disney Parks considering the premium price that is charged.

Pros:

children get to meet princesses

Cons:

Really poor food for the money!

The staff was very nice and the princess greeting for the little ones was done very well. The food was very mediocre compared to other Disney restaurants. When I saw the nearly $50 per person price tag (for dinner) I decided that for the value I would prefer to stand in line to meet the princesses and eat at some of Disney's other great places.

Pros:

Little ones meeting princesses

Cons:

Food, price, crowded, and noisy

Third time taking daughter to Akershus over the last two years.
All previous times were ok. This time the food on the menu is the same but the preparation is much different. They do not give you a printed photo anymore, you have to go online and print it out yourself. The princess's only made one round in the time we were there. Previous visits they made two and had a parade for the children twice. And the service was very lacking.
A huge difference than our previous experience in April of 2014.
I diff entry would recommend people to save there money and spend it at another dining experience.

Pros:

Get to meet some princesses

Cons:

Food was poor,no printed photos now, poor service, limited time with characters

Had we not been on the dining plan I would have skipped this venue.
Food was fine, but by all means not great.
The cost of the FREE picture was incorporated into the overall cost.

Pros:

Princess Interaction

Cons:

Check-in slow, and cost

I loved the food. Especially the meatballs. The princess were so sweet and patient with my daughter. My daughter wanted to run to the princesses at other tables that I had to hold her back from but would get nervous when they came to our table. She hid under the table when Snow White came by and Snow White knelt on the ground next to the table until my daughter wasn’t shy and gave Snow White a big hug. It was so sweet and a special moment.

Pros:

Lots of princesses and food is so good

Cons:

Picky eaters might not like the food

I went here because my friend wanted to meet Belle and I had very low expectations for the food. It ended up being very good! I love the deli meat, cheese, and pickle bar that you start the meal with, and I ordered the salmon, which was also very good! We had a table full of adults and the princesses spent time with us (we were aware of not taking up too much of their time ...) and also let the kids in a parade through the dining hall. Very cute princess meal and also tasty!

Pros:

Easier to get reservations here - there are plenty of non-fish options for those who aren't into seafood. Also, I want their meat/cheese/salad/pickle bar in my home.

Cons:

It's a character meal, so it may be a little pricier than what you'd want to spend on that food.

I tell all my friends with kiddos to dine here instead of Cinderella’s royal table. Much better food and they will still meet a bunch of princesses!

Pros:

Interesting and delicious foods It’s the first place I discovered school bread.

Cons:

Not so sure it would please a picky eater

My family and I eat here for dinner every time we go to Disney World for our first night! We absolutely love the Norwegian food, the meatballs and salmon are our favorites. We love the appetizer buffet and deserts. The princesses are always so interactive and fun! Would definitely recommend.

Pros:

Appetizer buffet included in the dining plan, special picture with a princess, the rest of the princesses come to the table, meatballs and salmon and rice pudding

Cons:

None

We enjoyed this meal, especially on a hot and humid day, getting to rest in air conditioning with a good meal was much needed. Belle (yellow dress) is stationed as greeter/photo op at entrance and then we met 4 other princesses throughout our meal. And the kids did a parade through the restaurant. Our plated meal was delicious and we enjoyed appetizers from the buffet to start. Character meals are pricey, however this is a more economical option over Cinderella’s Royal Table, with better food imo.

Pros:

Princesses, seated meal, air conditioning, princess parade, good food

Cons:

Line is mostly outdoor. We had no wait thank goodness, but when we left there was a long line of ADRs, directly in sun with no umbrellas. If I had waited 20min in that direct heat, I would have been cranky.
