Mar. 20 - Opening 2020a bug's land : Disney California AdventureMarvel Super Heroes-Themed Land The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe. This new land, opening in 2020, will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, in the adjacent space that is currently occupied by "a bug's land." "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19; the rest of the land will close September 5.
Sep. 05 - Permanent Closurea bug's land : Disney California AdventureBug's Land Closure "A bug's land", including Flik's Fun Fair, will be closing permanently starting September 5. The area will be re-imagined as Marvel Super Heroes land, opening in 2020.
