Mar. 19 - Opening 2020a bug's land : Disney California AdventureIt's Tough to be a Bug Closed March 19, 2018, to be replaced by the new Marvel Super Heroes area, opening in 2020.
Mar. 20 - Opening 2020a bug's land : Disney California AdventureMarvel Super Heroes-Themed Land The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe. This new land, opening in 2020, will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, in the adjacent space that is currently occupied by "a bug's land." "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19; the rest of the land will close September 5.
Sep. 05 - Permanent Closurea bug's land : Disney California AdventureBug's Land Closure "A bug's land", including Flik's Fun Fair, will be closing permanently starting September 5. The area will be re-imagined as Marvel Super Heroes land, opening in 2020.
Apr. 01 - Returning in 2020Buena Vista Street : Disney California AdventureRed Car Trolley Closed for refurbishment in preparation for the opening of the Marvel Super Heroes land. The Red Car Trolley will return sometime in 2020.
Apr. 30 - May. 01Disney California Adventure : Disneyland ResortDisneyland After Dark: Heroes Assemble After hours party at Disney California Adventure, featuring super hero encounters, special entertainment, food and beverages. The party takes place on two nights, but a separate ticket is required for each night.
