All New Star Wars Day at Sea Experiences Revealed

Brand new experiences featuring the Dark Side, the Resistance, the droids and more are coming to the Disney Fantasy when Star Wars Day at Sea returns on 15 special sailings this January through April. Among the new elements: the night before the event, Darth Vader and Stormtroopers will march into the ship's atrium for an Imperial takeover; Kylo Ren will appear in "Jedi Training Academy"; and you can obtain a guaranteed time to meet and take photographs with C-3PO and R2-D2, Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

Marvel Day at Sea – Full Roster Announced for Disney Cruise Line

The Disney Parks Blog has revealed the complete roster of characters who will be on board for the Marvel Day at Sea on upcoming Disney cruises. Black Widow and Hawkeye will join this epic event, assembling with nearly a dozen others from the Marvel Universe, including Black Panther and Loki who will make their very first appearance as part of a Disney vacation experience. The event also marks the first official appearance of Iron Man, Star-Lord, Gamora and Groot on a Disney Cruise Line ship. Rounding out the roster of Marvel Super Heroes that will be onboard are Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and Doctor Strange.

Disney Planning Not Two, But Three New Ships

Disney fans attending D23 Expo in Anaheim were the first to hear that Disney Cruise Line is planning not two, but three new ships in the next phase of expansion. Last year, it was announced that two new ships were going to be built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany with scheduled completion dates of 2021 and 2023. This additional ship will be built at the same shipyard and is scheduled to be completed in 2022.
