Have you ever completed a runDisney race?

runDisney offers several themed races throughout the year including a Princess Half Marathon Weekend, the Wine-and-Dine Half Marathon Weekend, and the fan-favorite Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. It’s a super fun way to get active and celebrate your love for Disney at the same time, and now we got a sneak peek at the medals for the upcoming Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
If you were lucky enough to grab a spot for one of the races during Walt Disney World Marathon weekend, here are the medals you can expect to see after you cross the finish line. For the 5K, you’ll get a Pluto-themed medal with bright colors that go perfectly with the 90s theme of the marathon weekend this year!

For the 10K, you’ll receive a blue Chip and Dale medal — looks like they are getting into some trouble as usual!

The Half-Marathon medal has a fun shape and features Donald and Daisy racing towards the finish line.

Did you know it is the 30th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Marathon? You’ll see that on the Marathon medal which also highlights Mickey and Minnie running around the 30! You’ll also see each of the park icons above the name of the race.

Ready for a challenge? If you are, you’ll receive the orange Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge medal. This challenge includes running both the Half-Marathon and the full Marathon — 39.3 miles total!

And last but not least, you can check out the Dopey Challenge medal. If the Goofy challenge was not enough, the Dopey Challenge includes 48.6 miles of running. You must complete the 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, and full Marathon to receive this medal. It’s also the 10th anniversary of this challenge and the medal celebrates that!

If you can’t go to Disney World for the races or didn’t grab a spot before the races sold out, you can still run the race from home! You will receive the medals in the mail — learn more about the at-home runDisney races here. The race weekend takes place from January 5th-8th.
Disney also recently released the themes for the Springtime Surprise Race Weekend. You’ll spot some popular Pixar characters in that line-up!
We’ll continue to update you on the latest runDisney news, so stay tuned for more.
