Ok this is wrong. We should not be doing this. Even though our fandom originates with the Disney company, their acquired IP like Star Wars and Marvel are just as beloved. It’s hard to imagine Walt Disney World WITHOUT Pixar characters. What would Hollywood Studios even be without acquired or licensed IP? I guess that Mickey train ride is cute… We need ALL the parts to make the parks, which is why pitting Disney against any of its other brands is wrong.
Well someone decided we should do it anyway, so here we are. Encanto and Raya and the Last Dragon are Walt Disney Animation Studios films. Soul and Luca are Pixar Animation Studios films. For a long time it’s been believed that Pixar’s artistry is unmatched, but then we were asked this question and our entire understanding of reality was shattered: Is Disney Better Than Pixar Now?
