This week’s Pic of the Week subject is bicycles. I’ve always loved bikes. My favorite thing to do as a kid was to ride as far and fast as I could, whenever I got the chance. Now that I am grown, I don’t ride as often as I used to but I still love bikes. Now I photograph them.
Bikes are big at Walt Disney World. For a leisurely activity you can rent bikes at many of the resorts. There are bikes for kids and adults, as well as surrey bikes that the whole family can ride together. There are also many bikes used as props around the parks and resorts. Once I started noticing them, I was surprised by just how many there are. Next time you’re there see how many you can count.

This weighed-down three-wheeler can be seen when walking through the queue for Kali River Rapids. Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a lot of bikes in the Asia and Africa areas of the park. Come back on Thursday and Saturday to see what bikes Scott and Lisa have found.
