You’ve finally made it to Disney World after months — or even years — of planning.
However, are you ready to visit Magic Kingdom? Maybe you’ve made a game plan and pre-booked some Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass rides. However, you’ll also want to get up early on your Magic Kingdom day because when it comes to this park, the early bird really does catch the worm (aka you’ll get to ride a LOT more rides with fewer waits).
Ride wait times in Magic Kingdom are generally at their lowest at park open. In looking at yesterday’s ride wait times, all but three rides had waits less than 20 minutes! Granted, this is a slower time in Disney World, but we’ll always recommend rope dropping Magic Kingdom.
However, if you are staying at a Disney World hotel and can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, we’ll always recommend that, too. You can knock out several rides in those 30 minutes before the general public gets into the park and then ride a ton of rides before lunch! Then if you feel like taking a break, you’ll have accomplished a lot in the morning alone.
