BREAKING: NEW Details Announced for the Harry Potter Ride at Universal's Epic Universe

We’re eagerly awaiting some HUGE news from Universal about Epic Universe: WHEN is this new theme park in Orlando going to open?

Universal is keeping us waiting on that one, but they did just reveal some EPIC new details about the Harry Potter ride coming to the park!

Epic Universe is Universal’s third theme park (fourth, if you count the water park Volcano Bay) coming to Universal Orlando Resort. The park has five lands — Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic.

We know that the new Harry Potter land — The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic — will have two rides, two restaurants, a lounge, wandering characters, a shop and more! Today we’re focusing on the marquee ride of the new Harry Potter land — Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry!

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry

This ride will take you on a chase through the Ministry of Magic as Dolores Umbridge attempts to escape during her trial for her crimes. The “magical, omnidirectional” ride has you propelled up, down, forward, backward, and more with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and a house-elf named Higgledy chasing Umbridge and dodging magical creatures, Death Eaters, and more!

And Universal has just released new details and new images from the ride! Let’s get into it.

You will get to travel though the Floo Network passage into the queue for this ride!

You’ll pass through the flu passage into the Ministry of Magic!

And you’ll experience the grand atrium of the Ministry of Magic — Universal says this is the largest thing they have ever built!

You’ll get to experience the atrium in the Ministry of Magic — in all its glory.

You’ll learn that you are visiting on the day of Dolores Umbridge’s trial.

Dolores Umbridge is going on trial — and you’ll be there to see it.

In the queue for the ride, you’ll visit Umbridge’s very pink and gold office…
