It’s time to shop for some shoes!
Shoes are a key part of a Walt Disney World vacation, as having the right pair is integral to keeping your feet in good shape over the length of your trip. This is especially true on your last day, as your feet have likely been through the ringer and need to make it through some last-minute park activities and maybe even a flight home. These are some of the best footwear options we could find for those final days.
These New Balance Sneakers are a longtime favorite of ours.
They feature “midsole cushioning” that combines “soft foam with a durable polyurethane rim to deliver all-day support.” They’re currently available from Amazon in a litany of color schemes including neutrals, as well as more colorful blue, red, and teal variants.
Another longtime favorite of ours, and proof you can’t go wrong with a classic, are these Slip-On Vans.
Available in several colors and designs, including the iconic Vans checkerboard pattern, these skate shoes are a comfortable slip-on option that make for a comfortable walk in the parks and an easy flight shoe.
Whatever sneakers you choose, you’ll definitely need to pair them with these Disney Socks.
These character socks feature pairs with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy, and make a perfect accessory to an adorable Disney outfit.
If sneakers aren’t your style, how about some Birkenstocks?
These particular Birkenstock sandals feature a “smooth leather-like finish” and are lined with “a soft fabric for comfort.”
If you’re a Crocs loyalist, how about some Crocs Slides?
These Crocs sandals are water resistant, and are made of a flexible Croslite material for “iconic Crocs comfort.” They’re currently available in several color options.
Finally, there’s arguably the MOST comfortable option: OOFOS.
Available in multiple colors, these ultra-comfortable sandals are made of “revolutionary OOfoam technology” that “absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear foams to reduce the stress on your feet, joints & back.” Furthermore, their “patented footbed cradles and supports arches to reduce energy exertion in the ankles by up to 47% compared to competitors’ footwear.”
Keeping your feet in good shape is one of the most important things to do on a Disney vacation, especially as your trip is coming to an end. And it’s really an unspoken rule that you need the perfect shoe on that last day of your trip. One that can get you through the parks even when your feet or screaming. And a pair that can be used in the parks and when you’re hustling through airport security to make your flight.
Over 28 trips. Used to be young enough to park hop. I could wear any wornout, cheaply made sandals or tennis shoe. My opinion on your choices because I’ve tried them all. Was here for the original Vans. Berkinstock needs to be worn atleast a month so it molds to your foot. Otherwise blisters galore. Vans are a heavy shoe. Crocs slip (yes they do or we have bad luck) when wet unless you get the slip resistant, which no. Again, me & my family experiences. My husband wears his green label Rebox, they look like seen better days, my daughters, sneakers, or sandals, me,my good ole shoe with big toe almost poking out
