🚨 Price Increases Hit TWO France Pavilion Restaurants in EPCOT 🚨

Prices are going up at EPCOT.

For better or worse, we’re used to prices going up at Disney World. From theme park tickets and vacation packages to souvenirs and menu items, it’s just a fact of life at the Most Magical Place on Earth. That said, these recent increases at EPCOT caught even the most jaded observer of Disney prices off-guard.

Recently, some huge price jumps at two venues in EPCOT’s France World Showcase pavilion.

At L’Artisan de Glaces, an artisanal French shop that offers a “flavorful variety of handcrafted frozen treats, including ice cream and sorbet”, we noticed the following:

• Ice Cream & Sorbet Single Scoop: Changed from $5.75 to $7.95
• Ice Cream & Sorbet Double Scoop: Changed from $7.95 to $9.95
• Macaron: Changed from $7.00 to $8.95

• Croque Glacé: Changed from $9.50 to $10.95
• Coupe du Dimanche: Changed from $9.95 to $10.95

We also saw increases at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie — a location where guests can “sample delectable treats and tempting delicacies at this traditional French bakery—from soups and salads to fresh baguette sandwiches and pastries” — including:

• Viennoiserie Pomme: Changed from $4.95 to $5.95
• Patisserie a l’abricot: Changed from $4.95 to $5.95

• Croissant Amandes: Changed from $6.25 to $6.75
• Framboise: Changed from $7.40 to $7.50

These price increases come in light of a recent study by Finance Buzz that showed that Disney World food items increased by an average of 61% since 2014, almost double the 32% overall inflation rate during that period.

Two of the most popular food spots in EPCOT’s French pavilion just saw prices increase relatively dramatically, keeping up Disney’s current streak of increasing prices on food well ahead of the rate of inflation. Stay tuned to AllEars for further Disney World price updates.
