Before your cruise, you are able to select onboard experiences. You can even shop beforehand and have your room decorated or have water and alcohol delivered to your room on embarkation day.
Onboard activities include Wine, Whiskey, Rum, Champagne, and Chocolate Tastings. There are even Mixology Classes that you can sign up for. Along with these, certain character meet-and-greets, like the Princess Royal Gathering (which is free of charge), can be booked in advance. Reservations for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can also be made beforehand. These are different from excursions that take place when you are in port.
If you are looking to dine at the adult-only restaurants aboard Disney Cruise Line, you will also have to book those reservations in advance. Trust us, you will not want to miss out on Palo brunch.
These activities and reservations are open to book at different times based on your Castaway Club status.
Concierge guests can book onboard activities 130 days before sailing by contacting the Shoreside Concierge Associate Team. Online booking is available 123 days before sailing.
Pearl Castaway Club Members (those who have completed 25+ sailings with Disney Cruise Line) can start booking activities online 123 days before their sailing.
Platinum Castaway Club Members (those who have completed 11+ Disney Cruises) can start booking onboard experiences online 120 days prior to sailing.
Gold Castaway Club Members (those who have completed 5+ sailings with Disney Cruise Line) can book these onboard experiences 105 days prior.
Silver Castaway Club Members (those who have completed at least one sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line) can book onboard experiences online 90 days before their sailing.
First-time Disney Cruisers will be able to book any onboard experiences online 75 days prior to sailing.
Unfortunately, these spots tend to be filled up by the time the Gold Castaway Club booking window opens. This can be tough if you are a lower-level Castaway Club or it is your first Disney Cruise.
The good news is that Disney Cruise Line normally holds a few spots that can be snagged once you are on board.
For all dining inquiries (including changing dining times), you will be able to talk to a Head Server at a dedicated location on embarkation day. For specific times and locations, please refer to the Personal Navigator in the Disney Cruise Line app.
If you have questions about reserving a spot at tastings, meet-and-greets, or an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you can head straight to guest services on embarkation day. We suggest making this your priority, as spots are only given on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are not able to find a spot for one of these offerings, it does not hurt to check back with guest services or to check the Disney Cruise Line app throughout your cruise to see if anyone has canceled.
While it is not always guaranteed that extra spots have been held on your sailing, it does not hurt to ask politely. You never know what might open up!

We have been on 17 Disney Cruises and love them! We have 2 more booked. Sailed on all the ships and are divided between the Magic and the Fantasy as our favorites. We have spent more time on the Fantasy, but the Magic has a magic all its own.
