The Unspoken Dress Code Disney Moms Are Following in Disney World

Whether you’re a new mom or you’ve been a mom for a while, you do things differently in Disney World than non-moms.

Magic Kingdom

That comes down to everything like how you plan your trip, how you plan your days, what you put in your day bag, and more. It also affects HOW you dress in Disney World, because moms know that practicality is EVERYTHING. So let’s talk about the mom dress code in Disney World because there certainly is one.

We spoke with several moms on the AllEars team and they certainly had opinions on what NOT to wear in Disney World. White pants or jeans (or anything) white can be a dangerous option if you have little ones. Our moms also said a big “NOPE” to overalls or rompers because trying to use the bathroom with a kid when you’re half-dressed and trying to keep your clothes off the bathroom floor is next to impossible in those outfits.

But when it came to what Moms wear to Disney World, we had some very helpful answers. Bags that can be hands-free are a must because you’ll need your hands to take care of your kids. This Mini Belt Bag is PERFECT for Moms because you can keep your smaller essentials in it that you need handy and just strap it over your body or around your waist and go.

We also love that this bag comes in a variety of colors to match any outfit.

If you’re visiting Disney World in the summer, you’ll want something cool that you can easily move in. Biker Shorts are always a good bet, especially paired with a baggy t-shirt or tank, keeping you cool while you look after your kiddos.

These biker shorts even have tummy control PLUS pockets (seriously, all bottoms should have pockets).

Speaking of loose boxy tees, our friends over at DFB have the PERFECT tee. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Bow T-Shirt has bows on it that represent the Disney princesses.

If your child is still in diapers, you’ll need a good diaper bag. We ALWAYS see moms at Disney World carrying around a handy Petunia Pickle Bottom Bag like this one that’s both a diaper bag and backpack.

These backpacks aren’t just cute, though — they’re also functional with lots of storage and organization for all your baby must-haves.
