You Will LOVE This Underrated Lounge in Disney's Hollywood Studios

Oh, Disney World food, how we love thee.

Hollywood Studios, especially, is a sleeper hit for some of our favorite snacks — and it’s even home to one of our favorite underrated lounges. There are plenty of places to grab a quick bite in this parks, but we think you’re going to love this one.

We’re gonna let you in on a little secret. Okay, it’s not really a secret since it’s located in one of the most popular Disney World parks, but it is severely underrated if you ask us. BaseLine Tap House in Disney’s Hollywood Studios just might be your new favorite place to hang out — here’s why.

Delicious Drinks

As you might expect, with a name like BaseLine Tap House, this place is more of a lounge than a restaurant (but they still have some great food — more on that later!) which means they’re serving up some delicious drinks.

You’ll find California-based beers on tap, along with wine, a few cocktails, and spirits. There are also some specialty, nonalcoholic drinks like the Wild Strawberry Lemonade and Strawberry Hibiscus Soda. If you’re looking for a place to wet your whistle, BaseLine might be it.

Excellent Eats

We already mentioned that there aren’t a whole lot of eats on this menu, but the name of the game here is quality over quantity. There’s a reason we keep coming back again and again — and it ain’t just for the drinks.

You’ll find small plates and snacks like the iconic BaseLine Bavarian pretzel served with beer cheese and mustard, a cheese and charcuterie plate, spiced almonds, and a ribeye puff that we’re pretty sure is made of magic.

Perfect People-Watching

If you’re anything like us, people-watching in Disney World is almost as fun as the rest of your trip — and BaseLine is an excellent place to do it.

You won’t find too much seating inside, instead, most tables are out on the patio that faces the pathway to Grand Avenue (A.K.A. Muppets Courtyard). Grabbing a drink, a snack, and popping a squat at one of the outdoor tables is sure to entertain you for a bit.

Free Refills?!

Yes, you read that correctly. You don’t often find free things in Disney World, but we found out not too long ago that the soda on tap at BaseLine Tap House is refillable as long as you bring your empty cup back to the location.

And, before you ask, no — you can’t get free refills on boozy drinks or snacks. Trust us, we tried. Still though, BaseLine Tap House remains one of our favorite stops in Hollywood Studios, and it might just become yours too.
