Haunted Mansion is Having a ROUGH Morning in Disney World

If you’re like us, you do a LOT of planning ahead of your Disney World trip.

You select a hotel and book it, make dining reservations, read articles to get the latest news, scroll through the My Disney Experience app to familiarize yourself, and so much more. But even with all that planning, there are some things you can’t plan for!

It’s pretty common for rides to have temporary closures in Disney World due to technical difficulties or weather-related issues. We like to keep an eye on the wait times section in the My Disney Experience app to see what’s closed each day.

This morning, we noticed that three different attractions were down, including a major Magic Kingdom classic — Haunted Mansion! UPDATE: The ride reopened within the first hour of the park day, just delayed, with a 20-minute wait time.

Also closed was The Barnstormer and Meet Sulley at Walt Disney Presents in Hollywood Studios. We’ll keep an eye out to see if these attractions reopen later in the day, so stay tuned to this post for updates.

UPDATE: Meet Sulley reopened shortly before 10AM but the wait time started at 40 minutes.
