What’s something that can make your day in Disney World difficult?
Honestly, there are a variety of things, from bad weather conditions to illness to missed dining reservations. But one of the most common is when your favorite ride is unexpectedly closed!
Today we stopped by Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see what was going on there when we noticed that Tower of Terror was closed…AGAIN. We spoke to a Cast Member who informed us that it was down due to technical difficulties…a problem that has become increasingly common recently.
Then, shortly after we realized that Tower of Terror was closed, we spotted that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster next door was ALSO closed. According to the Cast Members working the ride, this one was closed for technical difficulties as well, and when we arrived, guests were still waiting in the queue for it to come back up.
However, within a few minutes, guests were being told to exit the queue. When that happens, it’s likely that it will be a little while before the ride comes back up.

If you find yourself in this situation, make sure to keep checking the My Disney Experience app to see when the rides come back up. They’ll show closures in the wait times section of the app.

Maybe Bob Iger should be concentrating on getting maintenance done properly.
