Disney World’s newest ride, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, debuted in EPCOT in October 2021 with a virtual queue system.
This trackless dark ride is based on the 2007 Disney and Pixar film Ratatouille, and up until recently the only way to ride this new attraction was to either enter the virtual queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. Now that’s changing as the ride moved to standby today, and we found out that there might be yet another new way to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
Early Entry is a new-ish perk for guests staying in Disney World hotels, and it allows them to enter Disney Parks 30 minutes prior to opening time. Not every attraction or dining spot is open for Early Entry, so you can’t necessarily do everything you can normally do during regular park hours.
Beginning today, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is no longer using a virtual queue, and guests can now enter the standby line. And today, the ride was also open as part of Early Entry!
We confirmed with a Cast Member that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened this morning for Early Entry and will reportedly continue to be open for Early Entry in the future.
UPDATE — Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has also been added to Disney’s list of attractions that open for Early Theme Park Entry on their website, so this will be something to look forward to in the foreseeable future (though it is subject to change).
If you happen to be at EPCOT for Early Entry and really want to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, it’s not a bad idea to take advantage of that extra 30 minutes to jump in line if it’s open! Keep reading AllEars for more Disney World planning tips and updates!
