And, while face masks remain required for all guests indoors at Disney World, there has been an update to face mask policies at local Disney Stores. Here’s what you need to know!

According to The Disney Store’s “Know Before You Go” page, face coverings must be worn by all guests in the store only if it is required by local regulation. Otherwise, Disney is encouraging all guests ages 2 and older to wear face coverings inside the store.

This is a change from the former policy which required all guests ages 2 and up to wear a face mask if they were located in a county that was determined to have “high or substantial community transmission rates” by the CDC.

Cast Members are still required to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status at Disney Stores and physical distancing or reduced capacities may be mandated if it is required by local law.

Keep in mind that these new health measures only apply to local Disney Store locations and do not impact policies in the Disney Parks and Resorts.
