PHOTOS: Construction Spotted at Disney World’s Tower of Terror

When you’re visiting Disney World, you’ll likely stumble upon at least one construction project whether it’s at your resort or in the parks.

That’s because Disney is constantly refurbishing, refinishing, and reconstructing their attractions, shops, and more to keep them looking their best for guests. And, as more progress is being made at closed attractions like Mickey’s PhilharMagic, today we spotted some construction work on one of the most thrilling rides in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Today we took a stroll down Sunset Boulevard and noticed that there was something new set up next to the Tower of Terror. And, as we got closer we could see that there are now several construction trucks and cranes nearby.

What’s going on here?

Plus, if you look up above The Hollywood Tower Hotel sign, there’s some scaffolding there too.

There weren’t any construction crews out when we passed by and the ride was operating normally, so Disney is likely working on these projects late into the night when guests are not in the parks.

Some scaffolding on the sign too

It’s unclear how long the construction machinery and scaffolding will be by the Tower of Terror, but we’ll keep an eye out to see what changes (if any) are made! And, in the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest Disney news and updates!

  1. Tower of terror is one of my Favs. Haven’t experienced Galaxies edge or Toy story land.

My dad’s favorite Show was Beauty and the Beast Live on stage. So we go watch it every trip in his Honor.
