What Does Disney World’s Star Wars Hotel Look Like Right Now?

There has been a LOT of news surrounding the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser that will be heading to Disney World soon!

Galaxy’s Edge

The hotel has been hiring characters and other crew members as it officially appears on the My Disney Experience app and a model debuts in the parks. Even though its grand opening has been delayed, we’ve been keeping up with the progress on construction! And, we’ve got another look at the Starcruiser’s official opening!

Bioreconstruct on Twitter gave us a more detailed, aerial view of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser construction as the hotel takes shape near Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests can now see the central building where activity decks will be located, including lightsaber training, dining locations, and more. Adjacent to this building, the cabins will be located in the longer building, where fans will be able to relax during their interactive adventure.

When guests are staying at the hotel, they have the opportunity to head to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as a mini “excursion” to Batuu. In order to keep guests immersed in the experience of the Galactic Starcruiser, they will be transported on a “shuttle” to Batuu.

And, when guests are finished with their time in Batuu, they’ll board the same shuttle terminal to go back to the Halcyon!

The shuttle environment will be achieved using buses with surrounding video screens that make it appear as if everyone is flying through space.

As the Galactic Starcruiser continues to make progress for a hopeful reopening soon, we’ll be sure to update you on everything you need to know! Stay tuned with AllEars for the latest Disney entertainment and news!
