Disneyland Paris Will Reportedly Remain Closed Through the Holiday Season

Disneyland Paris first reopened to guests on July 15th after a temporary closure in response to the global pandemic. Since then, the resort has implemented many of the same health and safety procedures we’ve been experiencing at the parks in Florida.

Due to a nationwide shutdown in France, however, Disneyland Paris was forced to re-close. This was the second time a Disney park has had to re-close in 2020, following the brief second closure of Hong Kong Disneyland.

When the re-closure was announced, Disneyland Paris noted that they hoped they would be able to briefly reopen “based on prevailing conditions and government guidance” from December 19th through January 3rd for the holiday season.

However, according to DLPReport on Twitter, it appears as though Disneyland Paris will remain closed through the holiday season due to President Emmanuel Macron ruling out the reopening of theme parks at this time. The closure is currently scheduled to continue through February 12th.

At this time, Disneyland Paris has not confirmed whether they will in fact be remaining closed through the holiday season.  As of now, the park’s website still lists that they will be open during select days in the month of December.
