Want to prove you’re just as fit as The Avengers? This new challenge ought to do it for anyone who’s ready to Hulk out.
If you think you have what it takes to join the ranks of our favorite superheroes, it’s time to prove it — all without leaving your neighborhood.
Marvel and Tough Mudder are teaming up for a three-week digital fitness adventure that will allow participants to compete in physical, mental, and skill-based challenges based on heroes like Ant-Man and Black Panther. Progress will be tracked online, and before you ask, yes, there are prizes.
Tough Mudder is known for its obstacle course races that test participants’ speed, endurance, and physical fitness, and it seems like this particular event will be just as challenging, even though it’s digital.
The four overall challenges include Ant-Man’s Block Party to see who can go the distance, Black Panther’s Mount Bashenga, which tests your skills when the elevation is cranked up, Marvel Mania, which is a rep challenge, and Searching for the Infinity Stones, which is a “bobbing for” activity.
Does this sound like fun to you? Registration closes on October 27th, so if you’re interested, you can sign up on the Tough Mudder website. Participating in a single challenge costs $15 for digital sign up, and $40 for a finisher kit that includes a t-shirt, Marvel goodies, a Tough Mudder challenge coin, and headbands, while signing up for the next three months of challenges is $39, or $84 for the finisher kits.
This definitely seems like a fun way to whip yourself into shape… if you think you’re capable of finding the Infinity Stones and saving the world, anyway.
