When face coverings became a necessity in our day-to-day public life, Disney was quick to offer adorable branded face masks for purchase online.
At the time, they were only available for pre-order, but we are now learning that some of those masks are beginning to ship to customers! With face masks being a requirement at Disney Springs and eventually the theme parks, they couldn’t arrive any sooner!
We’re starting to see that customers who pre-ordered the face masks are starting to receive emails from shopDisney indicating that their masks are being shipped.
These seems to be happening in phases, as some customers with multiple mask orders are not seeing them shipped together.
With Disney World and Disneyland preparing to reopen their theme parks next month, it appears as though many will receive their masks in time for the grand reopening! Time to start coordinating your outfits…

I ordered my face masks on 5/1 and have not received them. I sent shop Disney a few emails with no response so far. At this point I would just like my money back.

I’m very frustrated with Disney. I, too, pre-ordered face masks (5/26) and have yet to get any updates at all. I even sent them an email and no response. Not good customer service at all. It would be nice to at least have a general update message on the website telling you that they have started to ship; but nothing. Totally left in the dark.
I ordered back in April and still haven’t even gotten a tracking number 🙁
I ordered two sets of mask in late May, but haven’t heard anything about when they will ship.
Ordered 5/3 – response from Disney on status
The Disney Character pre-order masks will ship on or around 7/15. The Star Wars masks will ship on or around 7/29. Once your items ship you will receive an email with the tracking information. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

I ordered on May 3 as well. Did you ever get a shipping notification yet?
I ordered 4 packs back in April and should be getting them any day now. I tried to cancel them once I started to see the online reviews but was told that it was too late. I’m surprised nobody is commenting about the overwhelming negative reviews about the quality of the masks running too small and pulling ears forward. It seems Disney isn’t doing anything to resolve this issue either. I’m afraid I spent $80 on masks for my family of 5, and maybe only half of those will be usable.
Ordered last day of April and second order May 1 via paypal (separate orders). First order had a but to PayPal to auth. transaction so checked
website (no updates for several days). Once payment hit bank, checked website again and a UPS/USPS (mail innovations) tracking was listed. Clicked on link and item ships from FL. Has taken four days to get from origination to local USPS (handoff for delivery). Has been sitting with USPS since 6/27 which is a Sat. Status by USPS is “shipment received, package acceptance pending” and ALSO “ACCEPTED.” Have requested updates via USPS on 6/29 and have received nothing. I am HOPING to receive this FIRST order from 4/30 today or by end of this week at latest. I
The SECOND order placed the day after has NOT hit eBay for a off-site yet which leads me to believe that one will be a few more weeks. Most items were sold out on website the very FIRST day with different backorder dates. Then, orders were able to be placed the next day, but with a LONGER backorder date. I remember thinking at time of purchase the wait time was very long and I feared possibly not needing them by the time they arrived. Unfortunately, that is NOT the case, and while we need masks more than ever, the wait time HAS been extremely long- BUT I will most glad once they ARE received and I remember these are important purchases because Disney is donating up to a million dollars to Medshare:

I am more forgiving of ship time due to this being a PPE item during a major pandemic that does not seem to be getting better, but worse. Hope this helps someone…..

We haven’t heard a darn thing!! Really wish they would give an official update! Also, my credit card was charged the second I placed my order, which they said would not happen.
I ordered my masks on May 3, 2020 and have not heard a word. Just like you, they pulled the money out of my account the second I ordered the masks. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don’t think I will ever visit Disney theme parks or purchase Disney items ever again. I feel like I have been scammed.
You should not let one bad misfortune such as this ruin Disney for you. Their response to COVID has not been great, but it is a confusing time for everyone. This confusion is way off base from their usual. 🙂
Ordered 4/30, received email on 6/17 they will be shipped that day to arrive 6/22. UPS tracking has them being delivered today June 23. I ordered 1 pkg of Toy Story large masks
i ordered and have never received either the product or communication.
On 4-May, I ordered one 4-pack of Large STAR WARS themed masks, and one 4-pack of Small DISNEY themed masks.

I ordered 1 set of large Disney princess masks in May. I was first charged and then it was removed and I haven’t heard anything further.
Made my pre-order purchase on May 2nd. Before finalising my order, I saw the earliest shipment would be June but went through with it anyway. Disney pulled the funds from my card. A week later, bank returns the funds to me because Disney never finished their part of the authorization. Flash forward to July 2, Disney wants the money back. I’m guessing they’re getting ready to ship my order.
I ordered 3 packs of masks (sm, med, large) on May 1. I have not received an email or masks. On 6/17/20 my debit card was charged -$30.53 ATM DIS*SHO DIS*SHOPDISNEY.COM. I just got off the phone with Disney and they advised that the pack of “Small” masks are getting ready to ship and to expect an email soon. The “Med” and “Large” mask sets are showing to be shipped in July. But, Disney have had a lot of mask cancels so the Med & Large masks may get shipped sooner. I will not be charged a shipping fee on the Med and Large mask shipment. My debit card should be charged only $19.99 + tax for each set.

I received my Disney masks a week ago. They are really nice. I had ordered 5 masks and all of them came in one package.
Or you could support small businesses on Etsy 😉 There’s lots of face mask makers there and some even use Disney fabric!
