Here’s What Crowds Look Like the Day Before the Temporary Closure at Disneyland

With every Disney park going dark in response to the novel coronavirus, we wanted to see what Disneyland‘s crowd levels looked like the day before the park’s two-week closure.

Main Street USA

While rainy weather is definitely a factor to consider, it did look considerably less crowded at the park today!

Main Street USA is showing smaller crowds than normal, though it’s by no means empty.

Being able to see the street is definitely unusual, though.

Despite that, there are still lines for various concessions and attractions.

People need turkey legs!

One place that remained active, however? Galaxy’s Edge. Though not as packed as it normally is, it remains the most active area of the park.

People have to make their last minute sabacc purchases.

Disneyland will close at the end of normal business hours today, with hotels remaining open until the 16th to accommodate travelers.

Stay tuned for more information on this situation as it develops.

  1. I was there. Got there about 5pm and left at 11pm. Longest line un Disneyland was Space Mountain at 30min. California Adventure was a bit more crowded.. Racers was 45min. Walking out of CA at closing time a few dozen cast members lined the street saying good bye to us all. It was rather touching honestly. Heres to hoping this doesn’t last long.
