As Mary Poppins Returns celebrates premieres around the globe we have been treated to another clip from the movie to build our anticipation and excitement levels even more!
The film, and stars of the film, have all been nominated for Golden Globe Awards and Emily Blunt has been nominated for a SAG Award. In addition, the American Film Institute has named Mary Poppins Returns one of the Top 10 Films of the Year.
The new clip features Emily Blunt’s Mary Poppins and the next generation of the Banks children getting ready for a journey into imagination.
ABC viewers on the West Coast will be treated to a re-airing of a special edition of the ABC show 20/20 on December 25th. The hour-long show is dedicated to Mary Poppins Returns. The special will feature interviews with Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda. During the show Blunt and Miranda discuss the responsibility and joy they felt at stepping into their characters and the iconic world of Mary Poppins.
The special also features a one-on-one conversation between Dick Van Dyke and Miranda discussing Mary Poppins Returns and Van Dyke’s excitement to share the Mary Poppins magic with a new generation.

In addition, you’ll also see interviews with Karen Dotrice, the actress who played Jane Banks in the original Mary Poppins; and Jeff Kurtti, a Disney historian and author.
West Coast viewers can enjoy the re-airing of the special on Tuesday, Dec. 25 (10 – 11 p.m. PST), on ABC. The show aired in other regions of the country on November 22.
