Port of Entry at Caribbean Beach Resort “Reimagined”

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has been undergoing a lengthy and extensive renovation that has involved completely “reimagining” its Old Port Royale section. Previously, the resort’s main check-in was located in a separate area, far away from the resort’s dining and shopping options.

Old Port Royale is now the point of entry to the resort, with a spacious lobby, three food and beverage locations and centralized guest amenities and services.

The bright, airy lobby features an open-trussed roof and a colonnade with floor-to-ceiling drapes.

There’s also a work table, complete with charging ports and outlets.

Along with the debut of the new lobby space, Centertown Market, Banana Cabana, and Sebastian’s Bistro opened at Caribbean Beach Resort this week.

Just off the lobby is the new Calypso Trading Post, offering Disney merchandise and sundries that you may need for your vacation.
