DINING ON THE BOARDWALK and around the Epcot Resort Area can be as fancy as you can imagine, or as casual as noshing on the real Atlantic City boards. Here's a brief rundown of the eateries in the area, along with links to menus and reviews. (If you'd like a quick look at the restaurants in around the area, take a look at our "at a glance" table HERE.)
AbracadaBar – New bar adjacent to the Flying Fish on the BoardWalk. Themed after a magician's hangout.
Beach Club Marketplace — located off the main lobby of the Beach Club, this counter service spot is located within the retail space, so at first glance you might miss it. Offerings include ready made salads and sandwiches, as well as a few made-to-order offerings. Also features several sweet treats, including homemade gelato. Seating is at cocktail style tables or on the nearby patio.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop — between the Yacht and Beach Clubs. This 1950s-era soda shop features milkshakes, malts, sundaes, burgers, old-fashioned Egg Creams, and the humongous Kitchen Sink — 24 scoops of ice cream and every topping they have! If you can finish it all by yourself, you get it free! Try stopping by at off-hours, like in the mid-afternoon, or use the take-out counter. Beaches & Cream also serves a light, continental-type breakfast.
Belle Vue Room — in the BoardWalk Inn. This comfy lounge serves continental breakfast with coffee and tea, danish, fresh fruit and pastries daily. In the evening it's a comfortable lounge.
Big River Grille & Brewing Works, right on the BoardWalk, offers handcrafted beers and tasty pub fare. They feature three flagship beers brewed right on premises, and you can even watch the brewmaster through the floor-to-ceiling glass walls. With seating for 50 outside and 140 inside, the pub serves lunch, dinner and late-night snacks. For the money, you might want to try one of the other, nicer restaurants in the area, but if you're into home-brewed beers, you'll probably enjoy sampling a brew or two and watching the world go by.
BoardWalk Bakery — Run by so-called "Proprietor" Hue G. Krazont (get it? say it out loud fast to hear the pun!), the BoardWalk Bakery is the home of freshly baked cinnamon buns, a high point of any morning! Outdoor seating allows you to sip your cappuccino while watching the gulls and the sun glistening on the water. But please don't feed the birds! The BoardWalk Bakery is also a great spot for a light afternoon lunch — or pick up a few goodies on the way back to your resort for a late-night snack.
