Nov. 19 - Nov. 20ResortD23 Destination D: Amazing Adventures -- This event, exclusively for members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, celebrates landmarks of the past, present, and future, from the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean to the planet of Pandora. AVATAR creators James Cameron (writer, director, producer) and Jon Landau (producer) will join Imagineer Joe Rohde for Pandora - The World of AVATAR, a presentation where they will unveil new details about the immersive, 12-acre land coming soon to Disney's Animal Kingdom. In addition, the event will include a conversation with Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Plus, Moana screenwriter Jared Bush (co-writer/co-director Zootopia) will be on hand to provide guests an exclusive advance look at the making of Walt Disney Animation Studios' newest animated feature. Cameron, Landau, and Chapek join previously announced Disney Legends Marty Sklar and Tony Baxter; Walt Disney Imagineers Rohde, Chris Merritt, Jason Grandt, and Wyatt Winter; producer Don Hahn (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast); and Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline.
November 3 - 6Resort WideDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend -- The two-park event features the inaugural Wine & Dine 10K and Luminere's Two-Course Challenge plus Mickey's Holiday 5K and runDisney Kids Races. Participants can expect on-course Disney entertainment. To top off the evening of the half marathon, runners are invited to the exclusive Post Race Party at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

Jan. 25 - Jan. 28ESPN Wide World of SportsPro Bowl Week -- Many NFL superstars will be coming to Orlando for Pro Bowl Week starting January 25. Among the Pro Bowl players recently announced are New England quarterback Tom Brady, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Dallas rookie sensations Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will host most of the Pro Bowl Week activities, including the team practices, youth football events, a Pro Bowl Skills Showdown and a dodgeball game pitting the AFC stars against the NFC's best players. There are also activities planned for Disney Springs as well as Epcot, which will be the site of the Pro Bowl 5K run. On January 27, Pro Bowl players, NFL cheerleaders and various community groups will take part in a celebratory parade down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. New for 2017: the 10K and half marathon will start on Floridian Way and finish at Epcot. In the Inaugural event those races started at Epcot and finished at ESPN Wide World of Sports. The Kessel Run Challenge medal will be awarded to those who complete both the Star Wars Half Marathon - The Light Side in California and the Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side in Florida.

Sep. 08 - Sep. 08Disney's Hollywood StudiosOne Man's Dream Becomes Walt Disney Presents -- The One Man's Dream attraction is currently being reimagined into Walt Disney Presents, which like its predecessor, will continue showcasing historic items from Walt Disney's history, such as sketches, photos and storyboards. But wait - Walt Disney Presents will also act as a preview center where guests explore what's next for the park.
Sept. 1 - 4Disney Springs6th Annual Great Irish Hooley -- Celebrating Irish song, dance, food and drink, the Great Irish Hooley kicks off performances beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, and continues each day and night through late Monday and into the wee hours. This year's Hooley entertainment headliners include: Elevation, a U2 tribute act; Lisa Canny Band; and Gary O'Meara Band, with a traditional Irish banjo player. In addition, the Raglan Road Irish Dancers and champion Irish dancer Ciaran Keating, Raglan Road's show choreographer, will host an entertaining event that traces the origins of Irish dance from earliest jigs and reels through contemporary times. Prizes will be raffled, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Fans can also cheer on favorite players as they go against each other at the 2018 Pro Bowl Skills Showdown. The NFL Pro Bowl Experience -- a free, interactive fan zone with fun activities for the whole family -- is open daily at 10 a.m. starting Wednesday.
??? - TBAEpcotSpace-Themed Restaurant -- At the D23 Expo 2017 (7/15/17), Walt Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald shared a first look at a new table service restaurant that will be located adjacent to Epcot's Mission: SPACE attraction. The restaurant will invite guests to travel into space for amazing dining experiences in the stars. No opening date for this restaurant has been announced.

The menu will feature African cuisine.
Apr. 27 - Apr. 27Disney's Animal KingdomTiffins Talk -- At Tiffins restaurant as part of the theme park's 20th anniversary celebration, Dr. Jason Fischer, Conservation Program Manager for Disney's Animals, Science and Environment, will speak about Disney's efforts to conserve the purple martin, a remarkable migratory songbird that travels to Walt Disney World Resort from the Brazilian Amazon to raise a family each year. The menu will feature North American cuisine.
