"..now in a salute to this dynamic personality, Walt Disney World premiers 'Mickey's Birthday Parade' on January 28, in preparation for a national celebration culminating on Mickey's 50th birthday, November 18 of this year.
Featuring close to 40 of Mickey's friends and co-stars, the parade will run each day at 12:30pm and 5:30pm (Saturday Nights at the World at 2pm and 9pm), beginning at Town Square and winding down Main Street U.S.A. to it's final destination in Frontierland. Nine floats will be included, stopping at various places along the parade route for large production numbers."1/
A parade was also held in Mickey's honor in Disneyland.
