Tokyo Disney Resort – Part 1

Tokyo Disney Resort - Day 1 When we last left our merry band of adventurers, we had just finished two wonderful days at Hong Kong Disneyland. Deb, Linda, Jeanine, Jack, and Pete flew to Tokyo the next day while Lee and I spent a day sightseeing in Hong Kong. Lee and I had moved to a hotel on the Kowloon Peninsula, so had to make our way back to the airport. We took a shuttle bus that picked up at our hotel as well as several others. Lots of narrow streets and no street signs - I'm really glad our bus driver knew where he was going because I would've been hopelessly lost!

When Walt became involved with the New York World’s Fair, he discovered that many of the corporate sponsors, … Continue reading "Tokyo Disney Resort – Tokyo Club 33"

A Trip to Tokyo Disney Resort

It was the longest plane flight I’d ever experienced: 14 hours in the air from Newark, NJ to Tokyo, Japan (specifically, the New Tokyo Narita International Airport east of Tokyo). As Tokyo Disney Resort is located between Narita Airport and Tokyo, Vickie and I boarded a convenient bus that transported us straight to our destination. … Continue reading "A Trip to Tokyo Disney Resort"
