Horrible experience. Waiter physically force fed my 23 year old daughter undercooked pork links and humiliated her to the point of tears for not eating it. This is not the Disney standard we are used to. If you like to be humiliated and force fed this is the place for you. If not I wouldn’t step foot in there.

Pros:

Nothing good to say about it.

Cons:

The entire experience food and service both horrible.

I just recently had lunch here at Whispering Canyon Cafe & I was incredibly disappointed. I had previously ate here once before a few years back & it was not the same experience. The other day when I went I felt like the waiter we had went too far. I know they are supposed to be kind of mean/pick on you but he took it to another level. The worst part for me was when I was finished with my food he came & pretty much force fed me to eat more food even though I kept saying I didn’t want more, that I was full etc. the last piece I ended up spitting out bc it was cold & gross & I didn’t even like the particular food I was being forced to eat. I felt like I had to keep trying to explain I didn’t want more but it didn’t seem to help. I have stomach issues so food is a very sensitive thing for me, but I shouldn’t have to explain that to a complete stranger they should no better. I felt forcing someone to eat by literally feeding it to them is actually disturbing. Since I didn’t finish my food I had to turn my chair around & face the wall & I know they were trying to be “funny” however I spent a good 30 minutes turned that way until it was time to go because anytime I tried to turn back around they made me turn to the back again. The waiter also took away my phone & threw it to the other side of the table which is very rude.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Wait staff

We tried Whispering Canyon for the 1st time last week, and I will not be going back. We were a party of 9 and none of us enjoyed our meal.

Pros:

Milkshakes. The milkshakes were the only thing good about the dinner.

Cons:

The food. I ordered steak and it was very rubbery and tough to eat. Others in my party ordered the skillets and they did not like them at all.

Rude Service and tasteless food with automatic 18% tip

Pros:

It was air conditioned on hot 95 degree day and that's the only pro

Cons:

The server throws straws for your drinks all over the table and calls people names as if it's funny but it's NOT FUNNY ! Food is tasteless in flavor and pulled pork was like chewing dried out beef jerky !

Not the best. food was mediocre and we got a really bad server. It took an hour and 40 minutes to get our entree. She made more than one comment about our kids asking for ketchup.

Pros:

Kids had fun interacting with servers (just not ours)

Cons:

food is just ok. Pricey for what it is

We ate here Christmas Day and were really disappointed. It was a pre fixe meal. I ordered a glass of Merlot and they were out. My husband ordered Pinot noir and was served Pinot Gris. The salad arrived without serving tongs and the waitress disappeared before we could ask for them. Then the skillet dinner arrived before we could eat salad. The food was subpar (to be polite) and the special holiday dessert was a joke - a bland pumpkin cheesecake in a tart shell. Blah. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Pros:

None

Cons:

It’s like a poorly managed Applebee’s. I only give it a 2 because the waitress was funny - when she was around.

This was the worst experience we had on this trip. We dined here 2 years ago and had a great time. We were meeting up with family and decided to make this the night we would get together. They had never been before so they were excited to experience it with us. It was embarrassing for us. First, they sat us way in the back next to the exit door from the kitchen. 12 of us were crammed in to a small area. We could not see or participate in any of the fun. Our server was an older gentleman who was looking for a big tip. He never asked if we were on the dining plan. We did say we all wanted the all you can eat skillet dinner. He said that was a good choice since it came with the drink of the night. Well, it didn't. Maybe if you were on the dining plan but otherwise it was not included. The drinks were $11 each. The ribs were terrible. The pulled pork was dry, not enough sauce. In addition, one of the servers coming out of the kitchen area dropped her entire tray of drinks, shattering glass and fluids were all over the floor. I did get splattered on the ankles but thankful I didn't get cut by the shattering glass. At the end of the meal, our server asked what we wanted for dessert. Thankfully someone in our party asked if it was included in the price. It wasn't. If they didn't ask, that would have been additional money padding his tip. We did complain to the concierge at our resort and we were reimbursed some of the cost.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Everything

We have eaten here each time we visit WDW and looked forward to the great steaks and the creamy red bliss mashed potatoes. We didn't realize their had been a menu change and it was not a change for the better. The only entree choice was the family style skillet dinner which was not appetizing or enjoyable.

For dessert...jalapeño cheesecake??

Old saying..."If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"...why was a great menu changed?? We won't return until the menu changes back!!

Pros:

Service was great; server was very responsive

Cons:

Very disappointed with the entire meal

Not good. We opted for the all you can eat skillet. Came out lukewarm. Chicken was pretty good, ribs and pulled pork were just okay, brisket was the worst I’ve ever had. Potatoes looked like they were sitting somewhere for a very long time.

Pros:

Service

Cons:

Food, temperature and taste
