We had the Breakfast Buffet and it was all good. I really enjoyed the Moonshine drink, tasted a lot like the Boma Juice at the AK breakfast, which we enjoy too. Cinnamon rolls were tasty and my husband really enjoyed the waffles. Really it was all good. Will make this a must do when we return.

Pros:

Breakfast, Moonshine

Our first experience at Trails End was in 2007 and we were not impressed. We decided to give it a try again and were pleasantly surprised. The service with drink refills was excellent the food was great with plenty to chose from. The fried chicken was amazing and so were the deserts. We will not hesitate to go back.

Pros:

Excelent selection and quality of food

We ate there twice the week of Memorial Day and loved it. We had originally visited in 2007 and made sure that we came here again for the dinner buffet. (I think it's the cheapest buffet on Disney)

If you would like a good down home cooking buffet, you need to visit the Fort Wilderness buffet for dinner. We ate there twice and for the money it is worth it and filling.

Pros:

Variety, cost

Had breakfast buffet and loved it. The buffet is smaller than others at WDW, but the food was great. Loved country version of Eggs Benedict with pulled pork. Friendly waiter and no wait to be seated.

Pros:

Food, service

Cons:

Can be hard to get to

We were staying at Ft. Wilderness campground so we ate at Trail's End three times during our vacation. We ordered pizza to go, as well as eating lunch and breakfast there. Our waiter both times was Ed. He took very good care of us. The breakfast buffet is very good and has a great selection. At our lunch visit I had the Chicken and waffles. DH had the burger. Both were delicious . Several of the wait staff, as well as the manager came by our table to visit. I would recommend this restaurant to any one wanting a great breakfast or a quiet place for lunch.

Pros:

Good food and service

My favorite breakfast place on property. Food is very good and fresh. Staff is friendly and fun. We went by boat from Wilderness Lodge. The best way to get there is either by boat from Wilderness Lodge or Contemporary. If you are coming from another resort transfer to a boat via the Magic Kingdom. No matter how you are able to get there, Trails End is worth a visit!

Pros:

Food and Staff

Cons:

A little off the beaten path

Our family of 4 (husband, son 5, son 2) ate here on 8/26. The staff was incredibly friendly and so nice to the kids! The atmosphere is very casual -- you need not dress up. We loved the price of this buffet (as compared to some of the others) since we were not on the DDP this time. The food was piping hot, plentiful (buffet style), and the selection is typical American fare. My kids ate the best at this meal (green beans, corn, mashed and baked potatoes, mac and cheese, watermelon, chicken, etc.). I loved the baked potato bar and the carved beef with the different sauces (chutney, homemade honey mustard). Everyone's favorite was the warm cornbread with the honey butter. My son has allergies and the chef came out prior to the meal to discuss everything (as they usually do), but also prepared a special gummy bear sundae just for him! After dinner, we took the internal resort shuttle to Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing a long. P.S. It takes a little while to get to Trail's End, and to get around this resort, so leave enough time!!

Pros:

Good price, great food, casual atmosphere for kids

Cons:

A little out of the way

Not the camping type, but ate here and was very pleasantly surprised. The food and service was very good. Took a little longer to get her on buses, which can sometimes be confusing (easiest to take boat to and from Magic Kingdom - them get on bus back to resort @ Magic Kingdom) Would recommend this buffet~

Pros:

good food

Cons:

transportation to campground can take a little long

Dined here 11-19 for breakfast, the food was excellent, the pulled pork eggs benedict was awesome. Server was attentive filling drinks and clearing plates. Pecan syrup was tasty.
You get a 10% discount with the Disney Chase card!

Be sure to plan ahead it does take a while to travel here. Best way is to take the boat from MK!

Noticed they take walk ups and the place was not very full. But everything was great Two adults ate a buffet for around $36, which is super cheap for the world!

Pros:

Food, service, moonshine (juice), cost

Cons:

none
