I came back to Tony's Town Square in September 2023 and found the new menu to be really good! I had a read a review prior to making reservations that a new chef had updated the menu. I tried the new garlic bread, it was very good, the bread was crispy with the perfect amount of garlic. For my entrée I had the chicken parmesan and it was great! I could not eat all of the chicken, it was a large portion, well worth the price.
Pros:
Great location right inside Magic Kingdom. Friendly staff. New Chef has put this restaurant back on the map.Cons:
The restroom with the restaurant is very small, might be a better idea to go further down main street USA if leaving the restaurant.Reviewed by DisneyGirlMelissa Review Date: 02/19/2024

the appetizers we had were amazing! (Garlic Bread for the Table and Fried Mozzarella) We easily could have had that and been done. The pasta on the other hand wasn't so great. Nothing horrible, but nothing to write home about either.

GREAT PLACE!!! This was probably our favorite sit-down meal on our trip (yes, even better than Be Our Guest). We got seated right away and the food was awesome. Service was outstanding....great experience!!!
Pros:
Great food, great service, fun atmosphere....great location too. Portions are HUGE.Cons:

I can understand why people say this is similar to Olive Garden. However--the marinara tasted just like my homegrown and roasted tomato marinara. It was delicious. And that was before the recent menu revamp. I spoke to our server complimenting the sauces (we were pleasantly surprised after all, especially from previous negative reviews we read prior to our visit!) who confirmed the sauces were house-made. My husband also loved his pasta dish (pretty sure it was a spicy sausage-based sauce?). The server was attentive and friendly, honestly making this a nice well-rounded dining experience. The only negative for us was that this restaurant can get a bit busy and loud, but that's honestly to be expected.
Pros:
The sauces and service.Cons:
Can get a bit loud.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 08/27/2023

So much better than most reviews/ratings. It is as good or better than any typical neighborhood Italian restaurant and that’s pretty much the best you can ask for in Magic Kingdom.
Pros:
Theming is cute, pretty good food with variety, nice location for dinner right before fireworksCons:
What Italian restaurant doesn’t have pizza especially for the kids?!?!?Reviewed by geauxdrum Review Date: 04/18/2023

We first went to Tony’s when we desperately needed a beer. Not sure why people frequently complain about Tony’s. Our visits have always been great. Food has been tasty and the portions shareable. My two kids are able to share one kids meal. Service is always friendly and fast.
Pros:
Beer!! Fast service. BEER!!Cons:

the Hate is uncalled for. we can all agree that Lady and the Tramp is by far the best K9 based Disney property from the 50s. now imagine eating past near cells from that unmatched masterpiece.
that\\'s all I have to say .

Lady and the Tramp is my favorite Disney movieCons:
Lady and the Tramp was a little raciest. and the food might be a little blahReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 06/28/2022

So I know Tony’s gets a lot of hate for being basic, mediocre Italian food, but it’s a must do for my family. Every trip that my family has gone since Disney reopened from the pandemic we have eaten at Tony’s for specifically one dish… the salmon. Now this dish isn’t on the menu but is considered a “special” but it’s been a special for 3 years now so I would say it’s safe to say it’s pretty much a standard dish at the restaurant. So it’s a delicious salmon that is sautéed with garlic and spinach over top of polenta. The polenta is much creamier and more buttery than traditional polenta. The bread is also very delicious especially if you dip it in olive oil. I’ve never had terrible service at Tony’s minus a long wait before getting to our table.
