It is a really family friendly ride! I don't like a lot of rides but I loved this! It feels like your actually flying. A must do if you can.
Pros:
The scenery is beautiful!!! Even the que is amazing and if you have little kids who can go on the ride, they will be entertained throughout the wait. Everyone can go on this, the drops are little but still very fun!Cons:

Second best ride in all of WDW now that ROTR has opened. It still is a fantastic mind blowing ride. I recommend it to anyone and everyone going to Animal Kingdom.

Long Cue. Why can't they open up more fast passes for this ride? Standby is ridiculously long and fast pass line is non existent. It seems way off balance for the amount of people in standby versus the fast pass line. Hands down the best ride in Walt Disney World. The duration of the ride makes the wait worth it, along with the queue having so much to look at. The ride feels so exhilarating, it makes me emotional every time. The sights, sounds, smells, feelings...the ride literally transports you!

We were determined to ride Flight Of Passage during our 1 day at Animal Kingdom. We got on with a 120 minute wait. Within 65 minutes we were on the ride and it was one of the most amazing and realistic feeling rides. I thought I was actually flying, it was so amazing and so worth going on!

Very immersive area, with state of the art attractions. Not too much entertainment, though.
