This is one of my favorite resorts to stay on property for a more budget friendly trip. It's not the most fanciest resort on property, but when you are on the go and looking for a place to rest on property, this place is great!

Pros:

SKYLINER! Theming, budget friendly

Cons:

spread out

If this was a rating for value resorts this would be 10s across the board. perfect location and great pool bar. You have the skyliner and you can walk to AoA to use their bus if needed. This is out go to resort.

Pros:

Skyliner, resort size, and fun theming.

Cons:

Food options are slim

This was our first time staying at Pop and we really enjoyed it. We were put in the 70s section, so the walk to both the Skyliner and the lobby were very short. The walk to the parking lot was on the longer side though, and if you plan on driving a lot, 90s would be a good location. We were not on the pool side, which I was glad about, because the Hippie Dippie pool was fairly loud in the evenings, even though crowds were low and the rest of the resort was quiet. The Skyliner was very convenient and fairly quick transportation, and we used it most days.

The refurbished rooms were nice. The bed was comfy, though on the firmer side. One side of the bed creaked when getting in and out, which seemed odd for how recently the rooms were refurbished, but it wasn't a huge deal. The sliding bathroom door also made an odd noise if you tried to open or close it from a half open position, but not if you fully opened or closed it in one motion. Again, not a huge deal, but we usually keep the doors half open, so I felt bad trying to move it while my husband was sleeping (and I have no idea if the people in the room next to us could hear it or not). I loved that the room had so many outlets available, and the mini fridge was great for leftovers. I definitely preferred the vinyl floor over hotel carpet. It felt cleaner than carpet, but also didn't get cold or echo like tile.

It was just me and my husband, so we didn't use the Murphy bed at all, and it was nice to have that table and extra space.

My biggest complaint was that on the morning we were trying to sleep in (until 9am, so not too late), mousekeeping was cleaning the room next door after the guests checked out, and they kept letting the door slam every few minutes. It was just the one day, but the constant thudding for about an hour first thing in the morning was very annoying.

Overall, we were very pleased and will likely stay here again in the future.

Pros:

Skyliner convenience Clean rooms

Cons:

Loud mousekeeping next door Firmer bed, not as great if you prefer a softer bed

This is a great value resort. We stayed in August 2017. It has dedicated buses, and now the skyliner. Pools are big and theming is good for a value resort.

Pros:

Dedicated buses Low price Good counter service food

Cons:

Big resort

This is the most recent of our many stays at Pop Century and we loved our stay. There were so many good things to talk about and our room was extremely close to the main lobby as well as the bus station but the skyliner station was a bit of a hike. The one reason that I don’t give the resort a perfect review is the luggage assistance. Despite whether there were 2 guests or 10 guests in front of us we always waited at least 15 minutes to drop our bags off or pick them up no matter how many cast members were there. The food was your typical Disney resort food and everything was passable other than the spaghetti and meatballs which was awful. The room was spacious enough for what we paid and we got everything I expected from this resort.

Pros:

Value, nighttime activities are fun for those with kids, multiple transportation options

Cons:

Some food wasn’t that great. skyliner station coupe be a bit of a walk, luggage assistance was time consuming

I stayed there from 4/21 to 4/25. The cast members were amazingly wonderful. I did not have one bad interaction. They brought my luggage to my room and I wasn't expecting it. I stayed in the 70's building B which is super close to the busses and not a bad walk to anything. My experience was great and I am already planning on going back soon.

Pros:

Amazing Cast members! Affordable Skyliner Fun Theming

Cons:

There was nothing con about my stay

This resort provides fun theming with just enough "Disney flair" to keep you roped in. We stayed here in February 2021, and we loved it. Love having the Skyliner as a transportation option.

Pros:

Great pool, Skyliner resort, running trail

Cons:

one dining option

We stayed at Pop twice in 2019: February 2019 with kids and November 2019 without kids.

Both stays were a great experience! The larger than life and colorful theming throughout the resort gives such happy and exciting vibes. The smell of the Pop Century lobby is one of my favorite smells.

During the February stay, we were in the 70's section and during the November stay, we were in the 50's section. For both trips, the rooms were very clean and although space is tight, it is well laid out. During the planning process, I had feared noise from neighbors as so many people complain about, but at most, we heard a toilet randomly flushing. We enjoyed a quiet space, were able to relax, and slept great (the beds and pillows are phenomenal).

The food court is great. The food was always fresh, hot, and tasty. During prime meal times, it can be hard to find a clean table, but for us, that is a very minor thing.

For the value, Pop Century packs a serious punch!

Pros:

Being on the Skyliner, fun theming, clean rooms, beautifully maintained grounds, excellent value.

Cons:

None that I can really think of! To me, the resorts are all huge and you're bound to do a lot of walking regardless of where you stay.
