The party was SO crowded. It was more crowded then if we went during a regular day. The wait times for the lines were high, the wait lines for the candy (candy you could purchase in bulk in any grocery store, nothing at all special or worth waiting in line for) were crazy long. We went in the passholders line because we didn’t want to wait in the huge line on the other side. We never even got treat bags. We kept asking and everyone said oh go here they’ll have them. No one did. The decorations were fun, the parade was great and seeing everyone dressed up was also fun.
Pros:
Decorations, parade and costumes.Cons:
CROWDS!Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 09/28/2019

Went on 9/22. 4th year in a row. Horribly crowded. This year, 2019, Disney sold unlimited season passes!! Greed and crowds ruined MNSSHP. Save your money. Lines were outrageous compared to previous years when lines were very short. Much less crowded earlier in the day before MNSSHP.

The insane crowds made it feel like any other day at Disney. Usually, the crowds are way down during special events like this, which is why I bring my family. It was so crowded, you could barely walk!! The wait times were ridiculous. In past years, the longest wait time was about 20 min, tops! Not this year. I don't think I will be buying special event tickets anymore. I feel like I got ripped off, very disappointed.
Pros:
Fireworks, paradeCons:

Reduced crowds is a myth. I would not attend the party with thinking you can do more than one attraction/get some candy per hour.
Pros:
Slightly shorter wait times for the rides possibly.Cons:
The crowds are not reduced by any means. You can’t even walk, it’s going to take you forever to get from point A to long B. Long lines for characters, long lines for trick or treating, long lines for everything. Good luck trying to get a seat at either parade.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 09/17/2019

Too Crowded!! Went twice. Much more pleasant during nonparty hours. Won’t ever go again.
Pros:
Castle/ Fireworks show, costumesCons:
Long waits (up to 2 hours) for characters, so-so special desserts, very crowded. Not a good value.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 09/14/2019

Awful!!! We went on Friday (9/13), the park was so crowded you could barely walk. Wait for SDMT was 50 minutes. We will never do this again.
Pros:
Kids loved dressing up.Cons:
Crowds are too heavy to enjoy the park.Reviewed by poolman Review Date: 08/24/2019

I took my adult DD to MNSSHP on Tuesday 8/20. The parade was great very festive. Never waited more than 20mins for any one ride. Space mountain in the dark was fun. The fireworks were outstanding. For the most part we avoided the candy lines. They were handing out candy after most of the rides.
Pros:
Parade, Fireworks, and short wait times.Cons:
Cost! Although we had a great time in the end we felt cheated by the price paid.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 08/23/2019

If you already have park tickets, go to one of the other parks. So far the 2019 parties have been way over sold. no reason to spend extra money to end up stuck in crowds.
Pros:
Some unique experiences, parade has "A list" cast membersCons:
Very crowded, Losto Burger is terrible, Not a good valueReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 08/21/2019

They are too many people. There is nothing exclusive or less crowded than a regular day. Pay $80-100 to get $5 worth of candy and stand in long lines. Don’t waste your money.
