My DH loves this restaurant! He wants to eat here every time we’re at WDW! The kids, however, are not fans. The cheddar cheese soups is very good. We usually get the filet and it is tender and very flavorful. I really enjoy it with the risotto. The service is good but I’ve never had exceptional service here. There is usually a long wait even if your on time for your reservation. The podium staff played a great game of Disney trivia and my DD & I won about 40 stickers! It was the best restaurant wait I’ve ever had!

Pros:

Good steaks Relaxed atmosphere

Cons:

Very little seating

We ate here the first night of our vacation. We had been wanting to go for a while, so we were really looking forward to it. We arrived very early for our reservation, trying to avoid a downpour. Even though they told us they were running 20 minutes behind we only wait to be seated 15 minutes or so. It was very crowded in the dining room, and we felt as if we were dining with the other guests at the tables next us. Not exactly the ambiance we were hoping for. My husband enjoyed his steak, although I ordered a different cut, and found my tough. I liked the seasoning and the side dishes. I really liked the maple creme brulee! I'm glad we went, and did enjoy the wine, friendly service, good food, and dessert, but I'm not sure we would find it worth going back to when there are other options we enjoyed much more.

Pros:

good wine, great service,good food

Cons:

too many people

We are still fond of the filet...albeit pricey. We have dined here many many times and for the first time, one of our party got a filet that was so under cooked, you could hear it moo as they took it back.

We like it rare, but this was even cold in the middle. It has never happened, and I hope it was a one time glitch.

My only complaint is the closeness of the tables, depending on where you are seated. I do not want to hear about your Uncle Charlie's goiter, or that you have had the flu for 9 days but are a little better today and then sneeze on my arm. Or make a comment to my wife and have the next table comment on my comment.

I know the dining room is quite small, but still....either add on to it somehow, out or up or whatever, or take out a few tables here and there for elbow room. Then it would be hard to find a fault.

Pass the pretzel bread please....

Pros:

Love the food

Cons:

Crowded tables, $$$

Le Cellier is one of my favorite restaurants on property. I was thrilled to get a reservation for just my hubby and me for lunch while he was in Florida for a business conference. I was able to get the reservation only a month or so in advance, so I thought that was a score!

We checked in, and had a little bit of a wait until our table was ready. I thought that it was nice because the people around us were all at different places in their meals, so it felt that they weren't sitting right next to us for the whole time. We ended up getting a table that was part booth on the back, and then a chair on the other side. I always like getting a partial booth. It just feels more intimate.

Our server was great. She was a wealth of knowledge, and she was just fun to chat with. The couple next to us was nice too. They were just trying to decide on dessert when we were seated, and I recommended the Maple Crème Brule.

The pretzel bread was delicious as always, but the only thing that disappointed me a little was the fact that they no longer serve those delicious cream cheese mashed potatoes. They were to die for. I wanted the filet without the mushrooms which was no problem. I didn't want the risotto, so our server recommended this layered potato thing, but I didn't care for it at all. I probably didn't need those potatoes anyway, I needed to save room for that Crème Brule.

Overall, it was a great meal!

Pros:

pretzel bread, ambience

Cons:

no more cream cheese potatoes

The waitress was very nice and even offered to let us go outside to see the last ten minutes of Illuminations before we had our dessert. Below is what we ordered:

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup - I ordered this because of all the hype of how good it is. A few mouthfuls were really good - my husband likened it to potato skins as a soup. However, the saltiness of the soup was overwhelming, and I have a very HIGH tolerance for salt. I like everything extra salty, but this was too much. I didn't finish it. The bread, however, we ate plenty of! It was great.

Filet Mignon - I NEVER ordered steak, but I figured what the heck - we're at a steakhouse. I wasn't disappointed - this was quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. Deliciously moist and tender. I ordered it medium-well. The wild mushroom risotto that came with it was a fantastic pairing. All in all, an excellent dish and I wouldn't have minded if I had to pay for it (I used dining credits)

Rib Eye - My husband got the rib eye steak, and although he enjoyed it, I thought my filet mignon tasted better.

Pistachio cake - I thought this was fantastic. The pistachio taste was perfect, not too overwhelming.

Chocolate trio - My husband got this, and although I'm a chocolate freak, I enjoyed the pistachio cake better.

Pros:

Amazing steak

Cons:

Cheddar cheese soup overrated

Ate here 2/24/13 for dinner, steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Steak is large but side dishes are smaller, more "upscale" feel. Worth 2 credits for a big steak dinner, don't miss the pretzel bread and cheese soup.

Even with an ADR, you can wait quite a while...however, it's worth it! The mushroom risotto is amazing - I dream about it. The wait staff is wonderful and will tell you all about their home towns and answer any questions. It's our favorite part of the meal. I notice that younger kids aren't as happy there - but with teens and adults - it's amazing! I was there on my birthday and there was no special treatment - so don't expect that for a special occasion!

Pros:

Food - mushroom risotto, service

Cons:

wait

10 out of 10!💛

My mom & I made reservations for this restaurant way in advance. So we had really been looking forward to it. It exceeded our expectations! Right when we walked in, the energy was very grounding & sweet. Dim lighting is a plus, & very kind staff. The food was OUTSTANDING. My mom had the wedge salad & the rib eye. I had the scallops & brussel sprouts. Next time we will save room for dessert!🥰 Highly recommend!

Pros:

FOOD kind staff members great energy nice music

Cons:

none
