My wife and I had dinner reservation for 430. We were seated fairly quickly to a crowded seating area. I must say before I continue that we have been to every country for lunch and dinner in the Epcot world showcase. In fact, we go every month. We were saving Canada for last thinking and hearing that it was the best place to eat at world showcase. To make it short and sweat. We both had the steak dinners for 52$ and split a bowl of soup. The steak was great. Unfortunately, not much else came with it, the bread was nice but the side items the came with the steak were maybe two mouthfuls. Definitely not worth the 140 for 2 steaks and a bowl of soup and that's with water to drink.
Like I said, been at every single restaurant at world showcase multiple times. Don't waste your money here.
My favorites are still Germany for lunch, Mexico for dinner, rose and crown isn't bad and teppen edo is a safe bet

Pros:

Good steak

Cons:

Small portions of everything but steak

We ate here last year and everything was excellent. Would have rated it a 10, so it was a for sure repeat dinning spot. This year the experience was a complete disappointment. Our waitress never checked back with us until we waved her over to refill our drinks. Then she'd disappear again. Both my daughter and I ordered the steak, which last year was one of the best I've ever tasted. When the waitress asked how we wanted it cooked, we told her medium. She said it would be pink all the way through. To me, that's rare. I asked if they could cook it to what Longhorn's calls medium plus or halfway between medium and medium well. She matter of factly said NO, either med or med well. Who tells a customer that? When it came it was well done and tough. We told her and she said "it's medium well, just like you ordered it." Guess we could have called over the manager and make a big deal out of it, but we had a fastpass on Test Track and needed to leave. Will not go back next visit.

Pros:

Deserts

Cons:

Slow service, unattentive waitress, overcooked steak

I used to love this restaurant--like we would book it twice during our stay things were so good. Now, we've decided we never have to go back again. They've changed the bread service from breadsticks to just rolls, and while the pretzel bread remains delicious the rest are just so-so. I ordered the cheese soup--a favorite of mine--and was super disappointed to see they give you a small bowl and only fill it half way. The servings used to be so much bigger! My husband had the tomato stack--an old favorite of his--and found it to be flavorless with frozen moz. cheese. Super disappointing. For the entree I had the filet and he had the pork. I ordered my filet medium and while the very center was sort of maybe pink the rest of it was not. Attempts to flag down our very slow waitress failed so I just ate half of it before giving it to my husband, who found the pork was also incredibly flavorless. Most disappointing of all--they got rid of the chocolate whiskey cake, my favorite dessert at WDW! We declined dessert and left after a very expensive and very disappointing meal. We will not be returning.

Pros:

Cons:

small servings, expensive, noisy, slow service

I've been to WDW many times and always wanted to try this steak place. Should have saved our money. Service was good, food is not. I had a ceaser salad($10.00)had about 10-12 leaves on the plate. Poutine fries that the waitress recommended smelled and tasted bad. My husband's steak wasn't any better than what he can cook at home. Best thing we had was the bread, tasted like a soft pretzel.

Pros:

Waitress

Cons:

Food

This used to be one of our favorite dining experiences and would countdown until the 180 days before arrival when I would make reservations (normally 3-4 in a two week stay). When we speak of change being good, I usually don't equate that phrase with Disney and Le Cellier drives my point home. From the Beef and Barley Soup and Maple Glazed Salmon to the wonderfully delicious Filet with Maple BBQ Sauce and Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes, Prime Rib Sandwich (all of which are no more), I cringe every time the menu/ chef changes at this restaurant and the latest is the worst. The merger of lunch/ dinner menu has essentially become a dinner menu and the yummy BBQ burger is no more. With the exception of the Cheddar Cheese Soup, they have now removed all of our favorites and added nothing that could take their places. I have never been a fan of the Dining Plan, so the two credit meal change for lunch and dinner will be a good thing as it may deter some of the plan diners, but sadly the menu may deter non-plan diners as with everything in Disney, prices have gone up once again while quantity, variety (differing from other menu options available at other locations) and quality have gone down. Oh, so disappointed.

Pros:

Cheddar Cheese Soup

Cons:

Menu changes, limited space

We recently celebrated our 50th Wedding anniversary here. I was very disappointed. My steak was very hard to cut. I had to saw through the steak. I expected potato au gratin; received something like bread stuffing which was barely edible. My husband enjoyed his pork chop. I will not return again.

Pros:

Pork chop dinner.

Cons:

Not being told about the change in side.

Finally got a res for Le Cellier after MANY trips to WDW. SO disappointing. Steak was shoe leather, potatoes were cold, service was slow, and one would expect a better atmosphere than there was. Very loud and obnoxious people everywhere, not possible to carry on a conversation.

Pros:

Can't think of any

Cons:

Read the review.

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I didn’t mind to pay $60/entree because the food was amazing. Recently, the food was bland, service was poor, and definitely not worth the money.

Pros:

None

Pricey Bland food Mediocre service

I wish I'd read the reviews before booking a table here. My sister and I have tried unsuccessfully several times to get a reservation for either lunch or dinner at Le Cellier, and were delighted when we finally got one during our September 2014 trip. Firstly, the dining area is dark and 'atmospheric' - not ideal if you like to see what you're eating; secondly the tables are far too close together - I could literally have cut the meat dish of the lady sitting at the next table; thirdly, the prices are ridiculously expensive. My sister ordered the mushroom pasta, I chose the pork. Sis said the pasta lacked taste and had obviously been left under a heat lamp whilst the other dish was prepared. I had to send my pork dish back as it was undercooked. The server couldn't have been more disinterested if he'd tried and grudgingly took away my pink pork and returned with it literally two minutes later. The meat had obviously been microwaved and, although it was cooked through, it was as tough as a lumberjack's boot. The desserts were ok - maple brulee - but no real flavour and served up with a complete lack of interest. The tip reflected the service - not great, but at least it was something. The dining room itself was too dark - or 'atmospheric' to give it the Disney spin - and it was jammed. It was almost impossible to get out of your seat without hitting the chair behind you, and when a party arrived that had a wheelchair user amongst them, it involved several staff having to lift chairs out of the way and ask patrons to move whilst they did so. There are at least 10 tables too many in this location. On the whole, we did Le Cellier, and won't do it again. Both of us left hungry and quite annoyed at the Dining Plan cost (2 table service 'tickets' each). We wandered round to China and split some chicken and rice to stop the rumbly tummies.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Food, Prices, Cramped Area
