A few years back this used to be one of my family's favorite spots to eat at Epcot. No longer! I have no idea what happened. I don't think 3 small tacos with nasty, tasteless chips for 11.00 a great value. Most Mexican restaurants serve rice with their meals, not just chips. We were so disappointed with this meal. We will never go back unless things change dramatically. Another complaint was that the tables were extremely dirty. I don't think anyone cleaned them all day!

None

Value, quality, cleanliness

We only got the churros here for a snack. My daughter thought they were just O.K. but I thought they were awful. Small and chewy with watery caramel sauce, and hardly any cinnamon sugar. I wish I'd gotten nachos instead. They looked pretty good.

Pros:

Lots of seating

Cons:

Churros

Very little choice and not very good, especially for the price.

We used to love the Cantina, before they changed the menu. It had a wide varietyon the menu to choose from, including side dishes such as rice and beans, and everything was delicious.

Now, you get a couple teeny tiny dry little tortillas with some dry little meat and a lime, with a pile of cold, greasy tortilla chips. Blech.

Or, worse yet, "nachos" which consist of more tortilla chips with that nasty, disgusting fake yellow "cheese" sauce dumped on. More blech.

I was SO disappointed I almost cried. Really. Just a darn shame.

My daughter and I paid $30.00 for a chicken taco dinner and a beef taco dinner with a side of guacamole. All the taco is was meat in a soft shell with a side of tortilla chips. Ther was no lettuce or tomato or anything else on the taco. The chicken was tasty and nicely seasoned. The beef was nothing we were at all used to. Odd tasting not steak and not chopped beef but an odd shredded something with weird seasoning. My daughter was not happy. It looked like a lot of people were ordering nachos. Maybe stick with that or the chicken tacos. But for $30 I would skip this one. I could have fed 8 people at taco bell for that and had better tasting food.

Pros:

Good guacamole nice location

Cons:

Not worth the price strange beef taco

Not a great experience the time I ate there. Food portion was small, and not very flavorful. Service not that great. Expensive. Overall prefer to eat inside the pyramid

Pros:

Nice view of the lake

Cons:

Not great food, not large portions, not great service. Better places to eat.

I had the chicken tacos and my husband had the beef, but they both looked the same. Each basket had three soft shell tacos and nacho chips. It’s rather expensive for how basic the food is and they charge for any extras, such as sour cream or guacamole.
I could find no open seating and had to ask someone if we could share their table.
Cast Members did a good job clearing the trays/tables and keeping the area clean.
Considering the cost and quality, will not be back. There are too many other options in Epcot to eat here again.

Pros:

quick service

Cons:

seating, food

I reluctantly give this a "yes" rating. A "4" rating should be a no, but I want to give this place the benefit of any doubt I may have.

The food is not on par for an Epcot quick service meal. The menu is limited, and the chips are stale. All in all, you pay too much for what you get. The tacos tasted good, but I got three very small tacos and a basket full of stale tortilla chips for a meal. Tortilla chips are a staple of any Mexican restaurant and they should always be fresh. The staff was friendly and filled my order quickly and accurately.

Seating here is a mess. I've heard they have problems with people needlessly taking up seats during the nightly IllumiNations. But I encountered this problem at 2pm. La Cantina needs to find a way to assure only guests who are dining can enter the seating area. I witnessed many people standing there with their trays of food just waiting for a table to open up. Then when one did I was entertained as the diners made their moves to secure the rare open seat. All the while people who weren't dining and just wanted to sit in the shade were taking up valuable real estate.

Mediocre food and seating is a problem. Maybe this place is worth it if you love Mexican food and have never been here before. But for me, there are too many better choices in Epcot to ever deal with La Cantina again.

Pros:

tacos were good

Cons:

seating is a mess

A good empanada (and gosh, I do love them) can make up for lots of shortcomings. In this case, that included stale chips, not enough tables, and slow service. But the empanadas and salsa were first rate!

Pros:

Yummy empanadas, good salsa

Cons:

Stale chips, not enough seating, slow service

We ordered the chicken tacos and they were tiny! They looked like mini tacos. They meat was ok but there were no toppings - just meat! The tortilla chips were stale. I thought it was expensive for the amount of food you got.

Pros:

outdoor seating

Cons:

small portions, food

We're a family of four with two adventurous eaters (adults) and two picky eaters (kids). We ate at dinner La Cantina in July 2022 at the end of our first park day. The kids were tired and cranky, but the patio seating on the lake really calmed them. There were things that they could look at that distracted them and kept them moderately entertained. My husband and I ordered the Taco Trio and the Nachos to share, and I ordered chicken strips for my kids. The tacos were much smaller than I anticipated, but everything tasted okay with the exception of the tortilla chips which were quite bland. Overall, it was an okay experience. We would maybe go back but also maybe not. I am not going to recommend this restaurant because there was nothing about it that you couldn't experience a little better somewhere else .

Pros:

Lovely setting Good ambience and atmosphere

Cons:

Small tacos
