We have always had nice meals at Kona Cafe and our April lunch there was no exception. Our party of four ordered the Asian stir fry, Dashi noodle bowl with grouper, Verlasso salmon, soup of the day and sushi. We were all pleased with our choices and did some tasting of each others' dishes. So good! We ordered two Kona Cones for dessert and what a treat they were! Too cute-and yummy! Our waitress was great and took photos of our group-it had been a long time since we four had been together. Our bill was less painful with my niece's cast member discount. Meals are priced on the high side at Kona but it is vacation and it is Disney. Oh, and the lapu-lapus were great!

We walked up at 5:00 on June 30 without an ADR and they were able to seat us so that alone was amazing. We have always loved Kona and it did not disappoint. We started off with the must have Lapu lapus and then the sweet bread and macadamia nut butter- delish! We had a mix of potstickers, sushi, red pepper soup and shrimp and chicken noodle bowls. Everything was absolutely delicious. We have never been disappointed here and I can not wait to go back!

We loved the Kona Café. The service was great and the food was even better. Enjoyed the delicious lapu lapu cocktail which is served in a pineapple, which adds to the pineapple flavor. I hated to throw away the pineapple, but it looked silly trying to scoop it out. Loved the sweet Hawaiian bread that was served with a honey sweetened macadamia nut butter, had a hard time saving room for dinner after eating. My husband ordered the rack of lamb which they had to cook special for him since he has shellfish allergies and apparently they use some form of shellfish in their typical lamb rub. None-the-less he said his lamb was one of the best cooked lamb he'd ever had. For my entrée I had the seared scallops that was served with wakame seaweed salad and a Polynesian seasoned rice, which was incredibly delicious. I followed up my meal with the citrus tart, similar t key lime pie, and it was sweet but not too sweet. Unfortunately the entrée portion was small and had it not been for the bread and the dessert, I would have left hungry. But otherwise a great experience and one of the best meals we've had at Disneyworld.

This was our favorite meal of the entire trip. I had the coffee crusted pork chop and it was amazing. This will be a stop on my next trip and I will order it again. The atmposhere was lovely- very quiet and peaceful. Our server was great as well. We had no complaints at all here!

We ate here on 12/16/14 for dinner. The staff and our server were excellent. So friendly and helpful.
We had crab cakes as an appetizer which was very good. My daughter had the swordfish , excellent. I had the tofu asian noodles, excellent . For dessert the banana cream was very good and chocolate fondue was good too.
The best was the bread with almond butter...excellent.
I would highly recommend eating here. I feel like it's a hidden gem for a great meal.

Visited Disney in August and arrived around 11:00. Check-in was quick since we had club level.
We were all pretty hungry (5 adults, 4 kids) and took a chance that we could get in to Kona, which we did. Of course for the rest of our 10 days, it was impossible, so I would caution everyone - reservations are a must for both Kona and Ohana. With only two table restaurants, the Poly is touch and go. I wish they would reopen Tangaroa Terrace.
Anyway, food was very good, drinks same. The desserts were incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is usually the best of the trip, and this trip it did not disappoint.
The steak and desserts are great!
I ordered one of the Kona beers, and it was too bitter for me. That was the only negative, but that was because of personal dislike.

We dined at Kona on April 11, and it was wonderful! Four of us shared sticky wings potstickers - Yum! As entrees, we had the almond chicken, tuna, lamb, and duck. They were all very, very good and we enjoyed sharing bites. We couldn't not have dessert, so we ordered the chocolate fondue, creme brulee, and they let me order bread pudding from O'Hana! Awesome! I was over the moon and enjoyed every spoonfull.
