Best meal of the vacation! Appetizers large enough to share, huge portions, delicious desserts. We were a little apprehensive when our server took our orders without writing anything down but it was unnecessary, he remembered everything and was very attentive. The shrimp and grits was delicious, Mom loved her french dip, Dad raved about the steak, and my sister enjoyed her buttermilk fried chicken (I'm pretty sure it was a whole chicken). Every thing is slightly spicy but not overbearingly spicy. A bit loud but nothing horrendous. Go here if you get the chance. Hope it stays on the dining plan!
Pros:
Food, service, triple chocolate cheesecake, huge portionsCons:

Tried House Of Blues for the first time our last visit March 2013.
Atmosphere was excellent,
Sat at outside bar (with entertainment) while we waited for our table to be ready.
Waiter was attentive and overall, the service was excellent. Spouse had chicken (enormous serving size)which was very tasty, Ribs were also very good.
Entire party agreed this will become a must do our next trip back. The entire experience from start to finish was wonderful.

Had the oppotunity to stop by for lunch during Mardi Gras week. As always, everything sublime -- in honor of MG ordered off the special cocktail menu -- an absinthe hurricane.... oh my! extremely delicious!! strayed from my usual favority of Voodoo Shrimp to try the fried chicken -- so delicious (and huge!), some totally decadent potatoes with bacon, cheese, and other delicious things-- key lime pie for dessert. Waiter was so lovely, I wanted to take him home with me (regretfully didn't get his name). Left (actually waddled) out of there a very happy girl!! thanks again HOB!

First of all, the decor is amazing in this place. Did you see the blues artists reliefs on the ceiling? There's also at least one hidden mickey (maybe there's more, but I saw one for sure). Started with the voodoo shrimp, which was good but overpriced. Then I had the cajun chicken pasta which was very good. It didn't come with it, but I ordered the jalapeno cornbread as well and you get a small skillet of it with the best honey butter I've ever had in my life. The cornbread was really good but I didn't taste much jalapeno. I still have dreams about that honey butter though. Definitely want to go back and try the gumbo and the jambalaya, and try to save room for their signature bread pudding.
Keep in mind they have a concert venue next door so that noise might drift over to the restaurant at night.

House of Blues happy hour has been a family tradition of ours for years. Shopping, maybe some bowling and ending our day at House of Blues is a full days worth of fun without paying to get into the parks. Just sit in their courtyard, listen to live music, buy some inexpensive drinks, possibly bring a deck of cards and buy some of their famous cornbread if you have kids and you could be there for hours.
Pros:
Great atmosphere and inexpensiveCons:

Our family of six enjoyed another meal at the Crossroads/House of Blues while at WDW. The food was very good. We love the Voodoo Shrimp, three of us shared this as an appetizer and then also had it for our main meal. One daughter had street tacos which were very small, but she enjoyed them. The other daughter had a chicken sandwich we she enjoyed. Our son had the Juicy Lucy which we all tasted and agreed was not very juicy and was kind of a bland burger. Our server was also very good, he knew the menu, made great recommendations was very efficient and friendly.

We have wanted to do the Gospel Sunday Brunch for quite some time. We travel from upstate New York every year with our friends for our annual Disney Christmas vacation. This year we were in luck and would be at Disney on December 30th, 2012. When we arrived it was a cold day for the Orlando area. We were allowed to wait inside for the show to start. When we were allowed in the brunch was ready and we were seated in the pit (we requested this area). The food was great and the show was even better. The buffet was massive and all the food was hot and good. If you want to check out the menu just look at the House of Blues Orlando web. The entertainment was just fantastic, we had a preacher that kept the theme up-beat and fun. If you are looking for a change of pace from the parks, I highly recommend this show.

This was our first time here. The food and atmosphere are great. They had a band playing outside and a solo performer inside. Both were enjoyable to listen to. We ordered the BBQ nachos and cornbread for appetizers. The nachos were good but with the BBQ sauce it was not a favorite for a couple of us. The cornbread with the bourbon butter was was so good. It comes out hot in a skillet. Two in our party had the Jambalaya and raved about it. There was so much they could have ordered one and split it. I had the shrimp po'boy. It was good but a little too spicy for my taste. 1 had the fried chicken which he said was delicious, the other had a burger. The key lime pie was the best we had on the trip. Highly recommend dining here.
