We took my step mom here for a recent trip so she could see the inside of Cinderella's Castle (as everyone should at least once). It started out a little rocky. I can never tell what line to stand in at the reservation desk and the people behind the desk are never ever helpful. This time we arrived at 4:28 for a 4:40 reservation. I was told that I had to come back at 4:30..really. While I was standing there it turned to 4:29, but it didn't matter. I had to walk to the end of the line and wait again. Just absurd.

Once we got inside to take pictures, the photographer just started shooting without even warning us. I was amazed that we got one decent picture. The large family in front of us got all kinds of pictures and help from the photographer to get a good picture...we got nothing. Guess you need to have little children for that? Strange.

I kept telling my step-mom that the draw here was not the food but the atmosphere, so was very pleasantly surprised when the food was really, really good. Our server was really great too.

We have been here 3 times and I really hope that we don't have to go back. The whole up front thing is always a frustration. You do not need that frustration on vacation and for the amount of money that this costs.

If you or someone in your party are a classic Disney Princess lover, this is hands down a must do. YOU ARE IN THE CASTLE. I also think what you get to eat and where you sit can make a difference. My boyfriend did not think his meal was great but he tried all of my food and agreed I ordered much better. However I think what I ordered was seasonal, as I just checked out the menu in April 2022 and what I ordered in December 2021 is no longer on the menu. I had the pork belly salad, scallops, and the clock strikes twelve. I will go back when character interactions are more “normal.”

Pros:

The experience. The hostess will announce your entrance if you want. We sat by the windows so could see Magic Kingdom which was amazing. You get to see Cinderella throughout your meal. Our waiter called us Lord and Lady which was fun, and he gave us a free appetizer. The wine flight was fun as well. As a true princess fan, I looooved the wand, sword, wishing Star, and autograph from Cinderella that they give you.

Cons:

The meal will not be the best you’ve had. Also, when I went, Cinderella is the only princess and she only twirls and waves from a distance.

We recently got back from my kiddos first Disney trip! We did alot of character meals, and really enjoyed most of them. CRT was a pretty great experience! The service was the best we had in all of Disney! We got a table by the window overlooking the carousel. This dinner was on our last day of the trip. We spent the dinner talking about the trip and being super excited to see cinderella. My husband and I both got the meat and cheese to start, it was good, but we had better throughout our trip. I had the beef loin as well as my husband. He had the steak at BOG and said that was better. I thought the steak was ok, not my favorite. My husband got the cheesecake dessert, it was very good. I really enjoyed the chocolate dessert. My daughter loves to decorate her own cupcake, such a nice touch. We also got some pixie dust, and got a free cupcake for my birthday here. My 2 year old got to eat the cupcake, which kept him from wanting his sister's dessert. This was the perfect ending to our trip.

Pros:

The castle, service, view out the window, dessert, overall experience.

Cons:

Starter and entree were just ok

We had dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table in October 2018 -- it was a surprise trip for my 9 year son, to celebrate the end of an extremely difficult 6 years. He *loves* Cinderella's Royal Table despite the princesses (LOL!), so we knew we had to get an ADR. The best I could do was a 7:25 -- and we wanted to see the fireworks! Our server did his best to make sure we were out the door by 8:45 without rushing us or our experience. And because we didn't have a "princess" with us, but a prince, my son got a little extra attention -- might be why he likes the joint. Ha! Our food was delicious and lovely to look at. And yes, we managed to get out in time for the fireworks. I knocked off 2 points simply because of the wait downstairs.

Pros:

The food is delicious and beautifully presented, the dining room is lovely, the princesses are attentive, the wait staff is great.

Cons:

Considering you *have to have* an ADR, the wait is too bloody long. You must factor in a good 25-30 minutes after your reservation time before you're actually seated.

This was our granddaughter's first trip to WDW, although my son's family lives 30 minutes from DL, she knows Mickey!
Anyway, my son and his wife planned a night out for just the 2 of them, dinner at the Coral Reef. We decided to take our granddaughter to the Castle for dinner, in the Cinderella dress we had gotten her.
She hammed it up with Cinderella, melting hearts of everyone watching.
Dinner was nice; fillets, mashed potatoes, & veggies. dessert sampling was good. Our granddaughter stuffed herself with rolls and cheese.
Some may say that a 1-year old won't remember any of it, I know my wife and I will!

Pros:

Atmosphere

Cons:

Price

Our waiter was wonderful. He was prompt with drink refills and even had a wand for our infant. He was nice enough to make sure he could have the wand before he gave it to him. The food quality was okay. My beef came burnt on the outside and the portions were very small for the cost of $60 a plate for this meal. The au gratin potatoes were very good. The princesses were wonderful. They engaged my girls in conversation. It made me happy to see them so excited and speech less like they were in the presence of a celebrity!

Pros:

service, characters,

Cons:

food quality and portions

I went there at MNSSHP expecting the food to be mediocre at best, but honestly it was so good and we had some interactions with the characters twice which was great.. maybe because it was a separately ticketed event or we just got lucky .. our experience was wonderful.

Pros:

Food was delicious, the Princesses were very cute

Cons:

You have to pay for your photos with Cinderella

This is it - this is the pinnacle of Magic Kingdom dining experiences in terms of...experience. It has absolutely nothing to do with the food, but to say you went up into the castle - THE castle - is worth every penny if it's in you budget. If the experience of going into the castle isn't worth it to you, I wouldn't recommend spending your money or time here because the food is unremarkable. I've heard people compare it with wedding catering and honestly, that doesn't feel too far off. You won't be wowed, but you probably won't be wildly disappointed either. But it's expensive, so definitely weigh what is important to you before booking here. It also is a rather long engagement, so be certain you want to set aside that time on you Magic Kingdom day. Honestly, this might be good for families with princess fans young and old who can't tolerate a go-hard-all-day-in-the-Florida-heat-morning-to-night types of plans. You can really take your time and enjoy being inside (in the air conditioning) making special memories.

Pros:

Dining in Cinderella's Castle - how cool! Cindy makes a guest appearance. You have pretty lovely views of Fantasyland. It feels special and fancy!

Cons:

Expensive and eats up a chunk of your day.
