Very disapointing! Big change since I ate here in 2010! Back then our whole party loved it! Ate here again over Marathon weekend with DH mostly because he loves the parmesean mashed potatoes. This time they were terrible! And the rest of the food was just mediocre. It was nice to see the characters and our server was nice but for the two of us, it cost about $90 including tip. Was not worth it and have crossed off our "must eat at" list.

We ate here on 12/9/12. This is my youngest son's fav character meal! This means we've eaten here often! They take a family picture before seating you. It costs extra so if you don't want it then simply ask to not take the pic. Easy as can be. Our waitress was Great! She even brought out a birthday cupcake for our daughter! The characters were fun and the food was good. For me I love the mini desserts they have! Fruit tarts, mini cheesecake, oreo mickeys etc Yum! Highly recommended for taking the younger kids to see Mickey Mouse!

Pros:

Great Waitress! Characters! Good dinner and even better Dessert!

Cons:

Loud

We have eaten at Chef Mickey's many times over the years. This visit was 4 adults on 05/06.
We all like the all you eat food. Parmesan Potatoes and Beef carved to order with peal and eat shrimp are the best. Even with all adults age 19-55 the characters still visited and took pictures.
What made this trip real good was a favorite dessert was not on the buffet at the time of our visit. I asked the server, Tom , and went out his way to find me some in the kitchen and deliver them to me.
This is not the place for some one that not like to eat much as the price is high. If you like to eat you can get your monies worth were for sure as well. If you like to eat and want easy Character Time with the kids Chef Mickey's can not be beat.

Pros:

Good Food, lots to eat, easy to get Character Pictures

Chef Mickey's is a character buffet and typically not my favorite place but DS8 loves it so we made the reservation. I'm very glad we did. To start off we were seated quickly. Our server, Tim, was awesome. I have a food allergy and he went back to get the chef who walked me through the buffet and pointed out what I should avoid. (Not much so I was set) Tim kept all of the drink glasses full so we were never thirsty. We really appreciated him! The buffet was tasty. The options were good starting with salads and moving to kids choices of pizza, nuggets, and mac n cheese. Next, the buffet offers sides and carved turkey and prime rib. The prime rib was ok (that is why the 9) but everything was warm (if supposed to be) and fresh. I loved the mashed potatoes. DH was a bit upset that there were so many things he wanted that he could not eat enough. Guess that is a good complaint to have. The dessert were tasty with soft serve ice cream and mickey domes (Oreos with a chocolate mousse). We would come back again. The characters were good and we were able to get pictures and autographs.

Pros:

Characters, service

This meal has gradually gone down hill since we first started coming here. Our first issue was with the characters. We sat for a very long time at the beginning of our meal and saw no characters. By the time our waitress brought the check we still had not seen 2 of the characters. I had to make our waitress aware of this so we could leave, because I was not paying for the meal until then. I also witnessed our waitress be very rude to a table next to us. They had a question and she looked at them and put her hand up and very rudely and said "I will be with you in a few minutes" repeatedly. The food quality is horrible. I couldn't find one appetizing thing on the buffet. It was horrible. The only reason I continue to come here is for the characters. It is not worth the cash!

Pros:

Cons:

timing of characters, food quality

I have never found the food itself to be anything but plentiful in options, fresh and varied.
Character intervention is better here than at other Character Meals we have been to.

Pros:

Food and characters

Food is very good and well stocked. Very good service. Mickey comes to the table for pictures so no need to wait in line in the park. Also had a good dessert selection. We all ate way too much!

Selection, Mickey Mouse

We try to eat here every chance we get. We had a party of 13 at 5:00 dinner and we are so lucky we called months in advance because I tried to change the time, and nothing was open for us! We went with another family who have a few members who are vegetarians. My family has a few who are allergic to peanuts, eggs, and poultry. There was so much food to choose from that it met everyones expectations. I don't think they have peanuts as a topping for a dessert anymore, but they do have reese's pieces. I have also loved the breakfast, but dinner is a great option, too.

Pros:

Plenty of variety!
