Just back from eating at beaches and cream. Have to say as a family we are all very disappointed. The food was fine but the waitress commented on the amount of food we ordered( which was 1 main course for each of the 5 in our group. Then when 4 of us ordered the kitchen sink and the 5th person wanted a dessert to her self the waitress passes another commented. All in all very disappointed in something we've been looking forward to for 3 years. I also felt at the end of the meal they wanted rid of us asap but waitress checked with me about her tip. Typical Irish didn't complain

Pros:

Chicken sandwich was nice

Cons:

Waitress spoiled the experience for us

My wife and I belong to DVC and usually visit Disney World in February and December. We always make a reservation at Beaches and Cream.
Today was the first time we had lunch there since it was enlarged. Although the food and service are still good, we found the noise level unacceptable, and we skipped having a sundae so we could leave ASAP. It was so loud that we and the people sitting next us had to lean over the table to hear the person sitting across from them. Every time a kid was screaming, the acoustics amplified it and my wife cringed. Unless Disney figures out a way to normalize the sound level, today was our last time.

Pros:

Good food. Friendly service

Cons:

Unbearable sound level. Parents not keeping their kids under control.

Ate here February 27, 2020. Food is mediocre at best! I had the turkey sandwich which was dry and flavorless. Hunsband had the cheeseburger which was tiny and nothing special. We ate at D-Luke Burger (Disney Springs) earlier in week. Much better meal for a cheaper price, and we didn't feel rushed out of the restaurant.

Pros:

Cute place.

Cons:

Food

Even though we had reservations, we had to wait almost 30 minutes. Hostess was down right hostile and could smile and was pretty rude. Dinner was greasy and just OK. Ice cream and milk shakes were delicious. We were a party of 4 seated at a tiny table that couldn't hold all of our glasses and plates, they sat 2 parties of 3 at the booths next to us. They should rethink their seating arrangements. If I had know I would have gotten dinner to go and sat by the pool where there was plenty of room. Would not recommend, get the take out ice cream!

Pros:

Very cute, like an old fashion ice cream parlor

Cons:

Hostess was rude, tables tiny, very loud

Read so many good reviews and we always like to try something new on our trips, so we tried here. ONLY redeeming points for us was that the ice cream was good. We had adr for dinner on July 2nd. Waited outside for half an hour past our reserved time. While waiting, determined that we would never want to stay at this resort due to the amount of crazy kids running wild while their parents were here and there drinking wine and watching golf. Very non-Disney feeling for me here. Anyway, after being seated we couldn't believe the prices for burgers and dogs! We just decided to skip it all and just get the ice cream, which was very tasty. The room itself is soooo tiny. You are seated at tiny tables where all the people standing in line for ice cream stare at you. I don't know where all the good reviews come from. My guess is people on the dining plan that don't look at the prices for the food. Don't get it and would not go back. Sorry.

Pros:

ice cream is yummy

Cons:

waaayyy overpriced fast food, ambience is non Disney, tiny room

My wife and I just had lunch at Beaches & Cream. My wife’s cheeseburger was dry, bland, and tasteless. I had the French dip, which was good, but would of been better if it wasn’t on a hot dog roll. The desserts were very good

Pros:

Desserts

Cons:

Cheeseburger was terrible

Had lunch here on January 14th, in the \"new\" expanded location and we were disappointed. We loved the original Beaches and Cream and have dined there many times as we stay at the Beach Club. The new B&C has little charm and a generic atmosphere. Nothing like the original. I felt like we were dining at our local Friendlys. The food is average at best. Tator Tots with no filling, just the outside coating. Average patty melt and Reuben. Our total for this disappointing meal was more than we paid at Ale and Compass for much better food (pasta dish, crab cakes, appetizer and dessert) in a much nicer atmosphere. The new Beaches and Cream is a total disappointment. We all said the same at the end of our meal, \"never again\". Total shame as we've loved this place since we first dined there in 1991.

Pros:

Nice staff, good service.

Cons:

Awful food, overpriced, lacks all of the charm and whimsy of the original version.

Excellent food as always. Would have tasted much better if we did not wait 45 minutes for our reservation. The problem is that this restaurant should never have started taking reservations. They have 3 large tables, so if you are a larger party, you are in trouble. We waited for 2 large parties to finish a kitchen sink. The staff seemed to be surprised that 2 large parties ordered the kitchen sink?? Both were celebrating birthdays and had been given balloons by the restaurant, so they seemed to be aware that the parties were celebrating. We had just gotten in after a long day of travelling and were starving! We had another reservation for Memorial Day and cancelled it.

I really, really wanted to like Beaches & Cream. I’ve tried- with no luck- for years to get in. It is highly recommended not only by online & podcast reviews but by my dear friends who are DVC owners. I finally managed to get a reservation for mine & my daughter’s birthday trip in November 2022. We had a 3 pm reservation as a break from our day in DHS. We were sat quickly and the hostess was very friendly & wished us happy birthday. That was the end of the good customer service. Our waitress seemed rushed but became completely disinterested in doing her job when we told her we were sharing a meal. Mind you we still ordered a specialty shake, loaded tots in addition to our chicken sandwich. When she dropped off the shake the spoon actually bounced on the table because she just tossed it. We had wanted another straw so we could share but she didn’t return until she brought out the check, another server brought our food to us. Our family as taken bi-annual trips to WDW for more than a decade and this was hands down the worst service we’ve ever had anywhere on property. Most cast members are happy to help & provide the best customer service anywhere- it’s one of the reasons we go. I hope This lady has moved to a job that’s more suited to her abilities.

Pros:

Good food, close to parks

Cons:

Hard to get into, wait staff
