We ate lunch at Be our Guest recently, but found it to me only mediocre. First you had to find your own table which was difficult for our party of seven. Then they forgot our deserts even though we had ordered on-line and early. The server though did provide them. We had to walk a long way for our drinks and also the food was not that good. I found the place to be very very noisy and the ambience was not that good.

Pros:

Food brought to you. Server was good

Cons:

Lots of negatives

Walking in was confusing, cast members did not seem to know where we should go. We placed our order ahead of time but at time of check in our order was missing. Very crowded and hard to find seat. We thought the reservation would have made seating easier to acquire. You had to find the correct angle to read what drink you were getting. One ice machine was broke. There are drink dispensers in each dining area, but since it was so dark we did not notice at first. I had the worst Vegetable Quiche ever made. It had no flavor, which the salad dressing made up for fifty times over. It had too much flavor and that was not a good thing. My husband got cold fries and a sandwich with meat to bread ratio was not good. Do yourself a favor go for the cupcake and leek soup, or skip the food and do a tour prior to 10.

Pros:

Decorations and Theme

Cons:

food, and service

We had lunch Fastpass+ reservations for 10/5/2014. We pre-ordered all our meals using the online system, but our order was nowhere to be found when we arrived at the podium to pay. I commented, "What's the point of pre-ordering, then?" to which the CM replied, "We're still in testing mode." We easily found a table and helped ourselves to the self-serve drinks. The food came to us rather quickly. I enjoyed my braised pork, but my wife did not enjoy the Croque Monsieur served with room temperature Pommes Frites. My MIL found the Carved Turkey sandwich to be too heavy on the bread, and no one liked the tomato soup that was served with the my daughters' grilled cheese sandwiches they ordered. The "Grey Stuff" is just okay, not quite as delicious as the song would imply. We ate here for dinner in December 2012 right after they opened, and were not impressed, but attributed our experience then to the fact that they were still working out the kinks. While the atmosphere and theming are nice, the price we paid (over $70 for a party of 5) for a meal that was mediocre at best, means that we will not be back unless the menu gets better.

Pros:

Beautiful atmosphere

Cons:

overpriced for the quality of the lunch offerings

We had an early lunch here during out visit to the Magic Kingdom. Tried to ask questions of the hosts "guarding" the bridge about the menu, choices, etc. and they basically blew us off. They were too busy telling people that they could only enter if their entire party was present and that they couldn't take stollers past a certain point and that they couldn't enter without their entire party being present, and that they didn't know how long the wait was and that they couldn't enter without their entire party. (get the idea with that last item....they were so worried that you would try to enter without your entire party...lol.

The ordering system was quite confusing and some in our group had to restart the process a couple times. One even had to go up to the center counter area to have their order changed because they messed up. (oh and did I mention that the person who let you into the ordering area was a clone of the bridge guards..."you can't go in without your entire party being present."

Once you ordered, you were on your own to find a table in one of the dining rooms and then to get your own drinks. The meals came out fairly quickly however. The portions were not as large as other Disney quick service locations but the food had and adequate taste.

While the food was ok and the decor was nice, there were too many other issues that lacked for me to reccommend this restaurant.

Pros:

Varied Selection; Nice Decor in seating areas

Cons:

Staff is not as friendly as other locations; Confusing ordering system

It pains me to write a negative review of this restaurant, but I must, with the caveat that I'm willing to give it another shot the next time I'm at Magic Kingdom.

Arrived around 2:10 pm for lunch, stood in line for more than 20 minutes. Took 10 minutes just to place my order because the credit card machine wouldn't take my room charge OR my first credit card. Eventually resorted to my emergency credit card. A cast member had to help me on three separate occasions to get the card to go through and the same thing happened to a few other people waiting in line as well.

I ordered the croque monsieur with french fries. It took less than 10 minutes to arrive at my table, but the sandwich was soggy, the portion of fries was lame and the atmosphere of the "rose" room where I chose to sit did nothing to make up for the lousy food.

Pros:

Theme

Cons:

Food, service

We went in 2019 and just had to try Be Our Guest. We had heard a lot of good things about the lunch option being a super inexpensive option and a good use of a quick service dining credit however, we were mildly disappointed. While the atmosphere was awesome, the options were mildly disappointing and the food was just ok. The cast member at the register didn't explain the process very clearly to us so we were a little lost and embarrassed. HOWEVER if you love Beauty and the Beast I would 100% recommend be our guest! YOU MUST TRY THE GREY STUFF it is delicious! I didn't even have to ask the dishes!

Pros:

Cool Atmosphere opportunity to meet the Beast (during normal times)

Cons:

Food was just ok, service during out visit wasn't super great.

I definitely went into this lunch (May 2019) with unrealistic expectations. While the location is stunning to look at, but felt like a glorified cafeteria (though the food was still good). We waited a while for tables to be cleared to sit in the West Wing and then it took forever to get our food. It was also super loud. On the plus side, the food was some of the best we’ve had in-park (Salad Nicoise, braised pork and the grey stuff cupcake). Though the food was good, the experience was disappointing.

Pros:

Delicious food (for a theme park)

Cons:

Loud, dirty and long wait times for food

I find it so strange when people constantly are recommending this restaurant. The only pro is being inside beasts castle! The food is far far far from good!

Pros:

In beasts castle, mobile order ahead of time, grey stuff

Cons:

Food was far from great, cold

Food is average. You pay for the atmosphere. Be sure to order ahead or else you will be waiting in line to place your order.

Pros:

atmosphere

Cons:

Its not any better than any other QSR restaurant.
