LOVE this hotel! My husband and I stayed here for out anniversary a few years ago and just recently took our daughter back to stay her as well! We love the resort and rooms and she loved all the themes! Front desk staff was super nice and accommodating! We will definitely be back 🙂

Pros:

Friendly staff, nice rooms

Cons:

Wish they had a little bigger food selection but not a huge deal

We stayed at this resort as a family of 6 and LOVED it! The Lion King Family suite was plenty of room for us. We brought a double stroller and another small stroller plus lots of luggage. The pack n play for our 11 month old fit comfortably in the bedroom with us. The benefit of having two bathrooms was amazing! I was able to get ready early without waking up anyone else in the family. Also, having a microwave and a fridge that is a little larger than other resorts was very beneficial. We had breakfast in the room every morning.
I can't say enough good things about this resort. The Big Blue Pool was beautiful (even though it was a bit crowded when we were there). The lobby, gift shop, and food court area were awesome and spacious. Our kids absolutely loved this resort and wanted to go back immediately.

Pros:

Plenty of room in the family suites. Never had to wait long for a bus. Close to skyliner. The food in the food court was diverse and delicious.

Cons:

Can't think of any!

Usually stay at PO:R but opted to stay at AoA for the Skyliner and we was not disappointed. Stayed in the Little Mermaid section. Rooms are fine, nothing special but access to the Skyliner made this resort worth it.

Pros:

Skyliner access gets you easy access to Epcot, DHS, and the boardwalk area. Lots of dinner access with all these choices. Perfect for those of us that leave the park early for better dinner options.

Cons:

On resort food options are limited but you can just Skyliner yourself elsewhere. Main pool gets crowded. Head to one of the smaller pools for a more relaxing environment.

Loved it. Our group of 5 had ample room in a Nemo suite, and the theming made it feel like we were staying in a big blue world. Staff went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special for her birthday. Loved being able to hop on the Skyliner and be at Epcot or the Studios in minutes. We would absolutely stay here again.

Pros:

Gorgeous theming. Access to the Skyliner makes travel a piece of cake.

Cons:

None that I can think of.

Incredibly immersive resort. It boasts the largest pool on Walt Disney World property, along with two additional pools which are generally a little quieter. The Landscape of Flavors food court has been voted one of the best quick service food courts in all of Walt Disney World. This is due to the large variety and high quality, for a good price. This resort has access to the skyliner which provides transportation to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios (Disney transportation is free to all hotel guests). It is also close to the water parks if you are planning on visiting those. Although this resort is considered a value resort, it has many qualities of a moderate resort. I would recommend this resort for families with kids, larger families (up to 6), fans of The Lion King, Cars, Finding Nemo/ Dory, and The Little Mermaid (these are the room themes), and families planning on spending a lot of time in Hollywood Studios or EPCOT (the skyliner provides transportation to these parks). I recommended this resort for families up to six because a majority of the rooms are "family suites" and provide extra space with a separate bedroom and two full bathrooms, it comfortably fits up to six people. I have stayed at this resort two times, soon to be three, and have enjoyed every experience. I have had only positive cast member interactions.

Pros:

Skyliner access Largest pool on WWD property Great food court Immersive theming Accommodating family suites Arcade Fair pricing on regular rooms

Cons:

Family suites can be pricey

Love love love A of A! I've stayed there 2, about to be 3 times, and every time it's such an amazing experience! Our last stay, we ended up getting an upgrade to a Cars suite and it was amazing! While the little mermaid rooms are quite a trek, they were still nice!

Pros:

Skyliner access, amazing themes

Cons:

none!

It is as advertise a great place for kids/families. It’s a huge resort so for as many people that are staying on one resort property it didn’t make it fell crowded at all! Simple & easy to navigate right in to the lobby when you get there Ink & Paint gift shop & right next to it if you keep through will be your dining option. Everything at Landscapes is 3.5-4.0 range out of 5 nothing will blow your hair back but the breakfast is worth it if you have the time & the full size pizza are two things I would recommend. On first looks the whole resort is 5 out 5 on theming lobby, gift shop, cafeteria, outside of the buildings, pool areas, & rooms all great theming! Transportation is another perk you have the standard bus rides to all the parks & Disney springs plus you have the undervalued skyliner option to Epcot & Hollywood Studios all forms of transportation are fairly quick & not a lot of wait after the first morning rush. All in a great place for everyone in your family!

Pros:

Good but not great food Actives for the kids like movie night at the pool Undervalued Skyliner transportation

Cons:

I can not think of any but there are probably obvious ones but I’m drawing a blank

We spent a week here this past April. It was our first time staying on property and we absolutely LOVED it!! We originally booked to stay at All Stars Movies, but was pixie dusted with staying in a Cars Family Suite! The theming of the entire resort was impeccable! Cast members were super friendly as always! The Drop off Pool Bar had some pretty tasty drinks too! We never had to wait very long for a bus to the parks or for the skyliner! Only downfall to this resort, was the building we were in was a good distance from the main building!

Pros:

Skyliner and Theming

Cons:

The distance from the main building

We recently returned from an eight-day stay at The Art of Animation with family; it's our granddaughters' favorite resort. While we enjoyed our stay, the resort requires updating. Our room had damage to the bathroom door, and the full-length mirror attached would make a loud sound when the door was closed, as it wasn't securely fastened.
The food court has suffered since the advent of Covid. Selections have paired down, and on one day, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The pork was delicious, but the bun was either very stale or the victim of multiple microwaving.
Having the Skyline is one of the resort's most significant advantages. Word of warning though we waited over an hour and a half going to Epcot. Take into consideration this was during the Christmas Holidays (early December) and rope drop. I strongly advise not using the Skyline for rope drops. In other time periods, the Skyline had short or next to no waiting.
Economically The Art of Animation is a good choice and magical with its theming. Disney has changed. The cost has increased, and some of its services have suffered.

Pros:

The skyline and pricing

Cons:

Food Court is limited and the quality has suffered.
