This is our favorite of the All Stars. The pool is nice and big, the rooms are comfortable and the staff has always been top notched. The food court could use some variety, it's not as good as it once was.

Pros:

Price and atmosphere

Cons:

Terrible wait times for the buses. This is literal my only complaint of this resort

Good value resort. Great cast and well laid out for walking up to the food court. We are DVC and stay here if we get an earlier or later flight than our DVC is set up for. Lots of kids and families so it is chaotic and noisy the closer you get to the food court and bussing but great for families on a budget

Pros:

Value, layout

Cons:

Noisy and chaotic

This is our family's favorite value resort. We love the family suites and they are great for larger families with young children. The standard rooms are also nice I especially like the Broadway standard rooms. The suited have a living area and a bedroom with 2 bathrooms and a very usable kitchenette. The ones at AoA are dinky and basically useless. The sofa, chair and ottoman all fold out to beds. The bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, tv, desk with a chair and a wing chair for additional seating. AoA has no seating in their bedroom but they do have bathroom as part of the room. The decor fits right in the music theme but is tasteful and well done. Overall if you have little children this is a great resort. The staff is always friendly and they have 2 pools.

Pros:

Fun upbeat with tasteful decor and reasonable prices

Cons:

can't think of any

Stayed here with my Mom 11/1/17-11/9/17 This is the hotel we always stay at and we are never disappointed. But I gave the rating of 8 because of the changes in the food court. The selections are starting to get quite slim.
We decided on no housekeeping in order to get the gift card and was able to get clean towels at anytime. Will be staying again in the near future.

Pros:

On property so always in the magic

Fun Resort

Pros:

My husband and I stayed here in 2014, we had a blast! It was our first time going to Disney World without our children. We had gotten memory maker for free, it was included in our pkg. The cast members were great and had made our trip wonderful.

We stayed here in summer 2017. Family of 4 in one of the suites. We had lots of room and the extra bathroom was great with two adult children with us everyone had room to move around and get ready. Our room was close to the pool but not facing it and close to the food court so it was a quick walk to everything we needed.

Pros:

Resort wasn't too large. Quick walk to all that we need - pool, food court, transportation.

Cons:

Feels more like a standard hotel. Nothing Fancy.

The resort is acceptable. I have no problem with the staff or room size. this time we stayed in a handicapped accessible room in Calypso. It was close to the main building, and the roll-in shower was very good for my daughter. Last year we were in the back of the resort, and handicapped parking was at a minimum. The few spots they had close to the building were taken up by the cleaning staffs carts.

Our biggest complaint is the food court. The choices are few and not especially appetizing. Breakfast was okay, but not lunch or dinner. If we were at the resort for dinner, we wandered over to Movies. Much better selection and food. Why aren't the food courts in all three value resorts the same? I have complained about this, but get no satisfactory answers.

Pros:

The handicapped accessible shower.

Cons:

The food court is awful, and the handicapped parking at the back of the resort is not sufficient.

I enjoyed many aspects of the resort. The cast members were excellent. There was only the one food court and the choices were limited and most entrees just ok. The only thing to watch out for is the family suite. I stayed at the resort with my husband, daughter and granddaughter. I thought the suite would meet our needs. However, there is just one real bed, and the rest are sofa bed, chair and ottoman. All were terrible. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor rather than the "bed". Two adjoining rooms would have been far better.

Pros:

Good value.

Cons:

Family suite

My boyfriend and I just returned from our second trip to WDW, and we stayed at this resort both times. We were on a budget, and so this resort was perfect for us! During our most recent stay, we were placed in Rock Inn. Our room was located in the back of building 4, so we were pretty far away from the food court and bus stops, however, the resort is not very large, and so we really didn't have far to walk from our room to the food court or bus stop.

We utilized the online check in, and checking in upon our arrival could not have been easier! We arrived around 11:30am, and to our surprise, our room was ready! While this resort doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of the more expensive resorts, our room was clean, and we received all of the benefits of staying on Disney property.

We swam a few times, and the pools were great! We preferred the piano pool, as it was closer to our room, and quieter than the guitar pool. I loved the Ariel located by the piano pool, as well as the Three Caballeros at the guitar pool! There always seemed to be activities going on during the afternoon by the guitar pool, which seemed great for kids. The pools were always clean and the water was just the right temperature.

For the first few days of our stay, we did not have anyone staying in the room directly next to us. A few days into our stay, someone checked into that room, and we discovered just how thin the walls are! We could hear their toilet flushing and their shower in the morning. This wasn't a huge disturbance to us, but it was definitely something we noticed.

While we didn't eat at the food court much, the food that we did eat was always tasty (although Mickey waffles are tasty, no matter where you eat them!) The food court has been recently renovated, and it is a great improvement!

The bus service was usually prompt, although the buses to MK always seemed to take longer to arrive than any other park. We never waited any longer than 15-20 minutes for a bus. MK recently added separate stops for Sports, Music and Movies, and it's great not having to share with the other resorts!

Our one complaint about this resort, is that coffee makers are not provided in the rooms. While a mini fridge is provided, even the cheapest of motels almost always have coffee makers in the rooms. We really would have liked to make coffee while getting ready in the morning, instead of having to buy it at the food court.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort to someone who wants to stay on site, but doesn't want to break the bank!

Pros:

Affordable, Clean, On Site, Food court recently renovated

Cons:

Thin walls, Far away from the parks
