Mission Accomplished: Brazil’s Samuel Souza Do Nascimento Conquers the Galaxy at the 2nd Annual Star Wars Half Marathon — The Dark Side at Walt Disney World Resort

Samuel Souza Do Nascimento of Brazil won the second annual Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side in a new record time of 1:07:14. Nascimento also won the 5K and 10K races. The top female finisher, Sydney Devore of Lakeland, Florida, also finished in a record-setting time of 1:20:15. More than 45,000 participated in the weekend's events.
