We did 1900 Park Fare as our first character dinner this trip. We have done the character breakfast at Cinderella's castle and seemed rushed to eat and see the characters. This 1900 was much more relaxed!! All of the characters were great and the food was good. We were seated promptly and the service was good. We all enjoyed it!! (Amy Bell, December 2005)

We went to 1900 Park Fare because I knew it would be one of the few opportunities for my daughter to meet Cinderella plus the menu looked great. WELL, it was wonderful! Before we were seated, my kids got to sit down with the Fairy Godmother outside of the dining room. How charming she was...then we were seated. Not only did we get to see Cinderella, who thrilled my daughter and kissed my 3 year old son on the cheek, but we also got to see Belle, Suzy, Perla and my favorite, Prince Charming! The food was fabulous! I've been to many character meals and this is by far one of my favorites. We would definitely eat there again. (Wendy Collins, November 2005)

Cinderella's Royal Feast at 1900 Park Fair was wonderful!! We had priority seating at 7:50 and were told it was a 15 minute wait when we arrived. My daughter and I had enough time to go to the restroom before our beeper went off. The late seating time was perfect because it really started thinning out after we were seated. When we got to the table, Cinderella was already at the next table just past ours. Instead of going onto the next table, she came back to ours first. We were just barely seated when we got to meet Cinderella, who was incredibly sweet. She spent time with both my daughter and son and took at least 2 pics.

I took my daughter up to pick out her food from the buffet, which was perfect for kids, and by the time we got back to the table, Suzy was coming by! Then Perla and Prince Charming, who called my daughter princess the whole time. We got to see all the characters within about the first 30 minutes. Both mice and Cinderella came back by at least once and we got more pictures with each. Everyone was very nice and wonderful. Cinderella even gave my son a kiss on the cheek (his dad was jealous!).

The buffet was excellent, IMHO. My kids (6 and 4) ate the best at this dinner than they had anywhere else. They ate so much, they weren't even interested in their desserts, which is unheard of! We waited in line for nothing. The waitress was very friendly and brought my daughter a birthday crown even though it wasn't her birthday! It was really one of the best times we had a Disney and will always be remembered. (LoriAnn L. Beck & Family, October 2005)

Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare dinner was absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating our daughter's 10th birthday. When we arrived at our table, there was a Happy Birthday place mat signed by all the characters waiting for her. The food was amazing, I tried a little bit of everything & it all was great. Everyone was so attentive, the characters were all great except the prince, he was NOT rude in any way, he just didn't seem as comfortable in character as the princesses did. Just as we were starting dessert, our waiter Bob (he was great) brought Cinderella & a cupcake over & sang Happy Birthday to Kristen. Cinderella stayed & waited for her to blow out her candle & told her to make a wish. Afterwards, Cinderella kissed her on the head & told her she hoped all her wishes came true, Bob then presented Kristen with a Birthday crown while Cinderella watched & I cried. This was truly the most magical experience we have had in the world, we will definitely go back next year. (Theresa, Ryan & Kristen Delbridge, August 2005)

We just came back from WDW on 7/16. We chose to go to the Cinderella Dining at 1900 Park Fare. We made our reservation for 6:10 on a Tuesday evening and we were even a couple minutes late. That didn't matter. They told us the wait was 10-15 minutes, before I even left the hall to let my parents know, I was buzzing and called back to be seated! Once we got seated, our server came right away got our drink order and we were told it could take up to an hour and a half to see all the characters. We got to see all the characters within the first half hour. My daughter went to get her food and as she was walking back, one of the mice were already on their way to our table. The then saw the second mouse (I can't remember their names, Suzie and Pearla I think). We saw Prince Charming and Cinderella separately and they both spent time to talk with my daughter and take pictures. They even did a wave for the digital camcorder! They were great. The food was good and had enough for my mom who is lactose intolerant and a vegetarian. We then saw the Fairy Godmother out in the lobby. I definitely recommend this dinner if your child really wants to meet Cinderella. It did cost about $100 for four people (three adults, one child) but I think it was worth the money. (Christine, July 2005)

We had the Cinderella Dinner at 1900 Park Fare and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this dinner for anyone who missed the Cinderella meal at the castle deadline. Cinderella, Prince Charming and two of the mice were there for pictures, autographs and chatting with your little princess and/or prince. This was great and I will do it again when I return next year. Make sure to do priority seating! (Kelly Roy, June 2005)

We had dinner with Cinderella at her Gala Feast, let me say she was wonderful, so charming, speaking to each child and making personal comments, she was the perfect Cinderella. The food, was not as good - no flavor, not a good selection, not worth the time and money. Thankfully, there are many other options. (The Bradley Family, June 2005)

*****

Of all the character meals we had on our recent trip, this was the only disappointment. Maybe it was because we had late seating (8:30 p.m.) but the characters and even the waiters seemed rushed. The food was good but not exceptional. We also ate at the breakfast and that was wonderful and not rushed. IMHO, the food is the best at any character breakfast at Walt Disney World. (Judy Van Cleef, June 2005)

We had a seating for dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) with Cinderella and friends. The dinner was good, but I was disappointed in the character involvement (guess I was spoiled by Chef Mickey's). Not all the characters came by the table and the ones that did just seemed to be in a hurry. At 9:30 p.m., they were gone! It was my daughter's birthday and I figured they would say something to her but she did not even get a happy birthday. That kinda stunk after paying $30.00 per person. I do have to say the staff was very nice but the character greet was not worth it. (Paul McGinty, June 2005)

We (our family of 5), had the last dinner of our vacation at 1900 Park fare. We did not get seated on time, about 30 minutes late, the only time this happened. The food was very unimpressive, not much variety for the kids, or the adults. The food is crammed in a small area that gets backed up easily. The characters were truly a bright spot, all of them were wonderful, taking time to talk to talk to the kids, sign things and pose for photos. All were great, but the true stand out was Cinderella, she was amazing, so sweet and personable, she was truly a Princess! (The Bradley Family May 2005)

The 1900 Park Fare restaurant was absolutely the best. Their buffet is absolutely wonderful. It is one of the most expensive buffets but it's well worth it. Cinderella is very hard to come by. I ordered a birthday cake months in advance of my daughters birthday and if was absolutely wonderful. The coated the whole cake with white chocolate, and there was vanilla pudding through the middle. It was way too much for 6 people but that's the smallest they had. It did cost 25 dollars but it was well worth it. (Andrea, May 2005)

My family and I returned from our Disney experience two days ago, and we had a blast! One of our favorite experiences was the character dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. We arrived around 15 minutes early and were promptly seated. The Fairy Godmother was seated outside the dining room, and the children (8-year-old son, 3-year-old daughter, 5-year-old niece) loved meeting her and getting her autograph. Fairy Godmother was friendly and engaging, and our children warmed up to her immediately.

After sitting down, we went to get our food. The children were delighted that they could get their own kiddie food off of the short buffet table. The adults were surprised at the quality of the food. We were expecting mediocrity, but it was quite tasty. (I especially liked the chilled strawberry soup.)

We were seated in the hallway/alcove just off the main dining area, as mentioned by another writer. It was a little cramped between tables, but it wasn't a problem. In fact, we were glad because the bathroom was just around the corner. Also, it wasn't nearly as loud as the dining room.

Prince Charming was the first character to arrive at our table. He was quite handsome and charming! He talked with our children and spent several minutes with them. The mice, Suzy and Perla, were so cute. They came back a couple of times and were very animated. Of course, Cinderella was stunning, and our little girls were mesmerized. She talked with the children and the adults and made each child feel special.

I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone with small children. The food was wonderful, and we got lots of attention from the characters. Even the waitresses were friendly. One commented that she was a helper at Storytime with Belle at Magic Kingdom and remembered our girls from earlier in the day. (They were both dressed as Tinkerbell, so they were hard to miss!) The whole experience was top-notch and delighted both the children and the adults (parents AND grandparents). DON'T MISS IT!!! (Susan Epperson, May 2005)

We ate at Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian and our only disappointment was that, after months of build up from Mom and Dad, our son wouldn't talk to Cinderella. The characters were very understanding about this and didn't pressure him too much. The food was excellent and we ate and saw all four characters within one hour's time. (Vickie Fisher, March 2005)

I took my daughters (6 & 7) to Cinderella's Royal Feast on 11/3. We had PS for 5:50 p.m., but were promptly seated at arrival at 5:30 p.m. The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby and was not that friendly with my girls. We were seated in the very back out-cove of the room - it is open on the end to the hotel lobby and only roped off to those on the other side. It was very distracting with folks stopping and looking to see the action. Not the best meal atmosphere. The buffet is very small and in a cramped little corner with dessert and dinner in the same space - very hard to maneuver especially with kids along. The family next to us had been there for 1 hour and not yet seen the Prince or Cinderella (they were the very last table in the location) so the mom went to complain - it helped but not much. Prince Charming came and tried to be nice, but Cinderella was cold - she signed books, took pictures and left - NO interaction. The mice really made the night OK - they were fun and stayed and interacted with all the kids. The food was cool and not that exciting. We will not do this one again. (Tina G., November 2004)

We did several character (princess) meals during our recent visit with our four year old princess and this was the only disappointment. We anticipated the food being mediocre (it was and also disturbingly lukewarm) and the loud nature of the restaurant, but we had hoped for better with the character end of things. Our PS was rescheduled due to an impending Hurricane Ivan, so we ended up with a 5:50 seating instead of 5:00. We were there almost an hour before we finally saw Cinderella and probably another 15 minutes before seeing the Prince. This at a time when the restaurant was not full (due to Ivan). Cinderella was clearly not engaged with the children and our daughter (who is on the shy side) was afraid to speak to her, so she signed her book and moved on within seconds. The prince seemed like he could care less. I met another mother in the lobby who had a P.S. for 4:30 and she said it was a much better experience. So, my recommendation would be to either go very early or save your money for another character meal. For us, $77.00 to be snubbed by Cinderella was a bit ridiculous. On the bright side, the mice--Perla and Suzie--were absolutely wonderful and seemed to have a better sense of working with children and bringing more reluctant children out of their shell. They really were a silver lining. (Deanna Kerrigan, 9/2004)

My daughter and I loved this dinner. The food was great. My daughter loved getting her own food and being able to make her own sundae. Fairy Godmother and the Mice come right to your table and when you're done eating, you go out to the hallway and get your picture taken with Cinderella and her Prince. It was more than I expected. After dinner (because I got a later PS), we went out to the dock at Gland Floridian to watch the fire works at the Magic Kingdom. That made our night complete! (Shannon B., July 2004)

We went to Cinderella's Gala Feast in May 2004. I had made priority reservations 90 days ahead of our dinner. We got there at the first PS of the evening and there was no Fairy Godmother to be found. In fact, we never did see her except from a distance and when we rushed out after a LONG dinner to try and get one photo of her--poof! she had vanished into thin air. I was really looking forward to this dinner for my 3 year old because like all other girls her age she is in love with the princesses. Unfortunately, it took at least 30 minutes for any character to start circulating the room and when Prince Charming and Cinderella got near, they skipped our table entirely (but went directly to the one next to us) and proceeded into the back room. A good 15 minutes later we were still waiting and they finally made it to our table. Cinderella posed for one picture and that was it--Bibbidi Bobbido Boo--she vanished just like her fairy godmother! We never saw her again. Prince Charming at least stayed for a few photos--but the only characters that were friendly at all were the mice--they were great. We are not fussy people and expected to "wait our turn" but when it takes nearly an hour for you to get to see all the characters at the dinner just once, that is really too long in my opinion. We won't be going back for dinner there again. Hoping for a table at Cinderella's Breakfast at the Castle next May. (Ellen, May 2004)

We attended the 1900 Park Fare character dinner and we LOVED it. We had a PS for 5:30 and arrived at 5:00 PM to be seated immediately. There were very few people dining at the time so there was no line for the buffet. The food was the best we had all week. The spinach is to die for and even my 2 year old daughter ate some. The prime rib was also great. There was also steamed mussels, pasta, salad bar, chicken, and other sides. Everything I tasted was great. But again the spinach rocked!! The one disappointment to us was that there was no ice cream! As for the characters they were awesome with my daughter. Cinderella was first to appear at our table. My little girl was so excited! "Cindy" even bent down and let my princess sit on her lap. Next was Suzy and Perla and finally Prince Charming who truly was charming. He picked up my little girl and kept calling her "Princess Emilie" it made my heart melt. There were so few guests at this time that the characters each came around to our table 3 times. We did notice that as we left around 6:00PM the place was beginning to fill quickly.

If you are looking for an alternative to Cinderella's Royal Table this is perfect! Plus the Grand Floridian is beautiful and a great place to just look around or hop back on the monorail to MK for the fireworks! (Melinda Miller, March 2003)

We just returned from WDW and had dinner at Cinderella's Gala Feast at the Grand Floridian. I had read from several sources about the meal and two things were different than we expected. First, we expected Cinderella and the Prince to be out in the lobby to greet us, but we were informed that they had just started circulating during dinner instead, and the Fairy Godmother greets guests now. That made for a wonderful photo to have them both there, but it took almost an hour and a half for them to make it to our table. The other thing we expected was for the stepmother and stepsisters to possibly be in attendance, since I had read that, again, in several sources. One of the sources is our Disney Vacation Club e-newsletter. We were told by one of the hostesses that they had never been there and she had not ever heard they were ever supposed to be! So I am curious whether she just didn't know the facts or if all the information I'd read and seen about them being included was in error. The food was very good and we enjoyed the experience, though hopefully the circulation time for Cinderella and the Prince will be shorter for guests in the future. (Mary Alesandrini, 3/2003)

My 5 year old daughter loved dinning at the Gala Feast. It was wonderful to watch her face light up when she met Cinderella, Prince Charming, The Fairy Godmother and the MICE MICE. Perla and Suzy ( the mice ) were awesome. They danced with my daughter in the middle of the restaurant. I think she enjoyed meeting and playing with the mice as much as the Prince and Cinderella. We did wait awhile for them as they rotated through out the restaurant, but were very pleased at the amount of time they spent with each of the children. The food was good, but not the reason that we went to the dinner. We thought the staff was friendly. The whole evening was just magical. (Lori Joyce, 3/2003)

I just wanted to let you know that the format to Cinderella's Dinner at the Grand Floridian has changed. Cinderella and Prince Charming now walk among the tables and stop for autographs and pictures along with the two mice. The Fairy Godmother is now at the entrance where she signs autographs and poses for pictures. It was such a wonderful site to see my daughter so excited when Cinderella and Prince Charming came to her table. It was a very magical moment. (Debbie Podzimek, 3/2003)

I wanted to let you know that Cinderella and her Prince now rotate among the tables at 1900 Park Faire during the Cinderella dinner. My daughter’s high school drill team attended the dinner last Friday night (2/21) and thoroughly enjoyed having their pictures made with both Cinderella and the Prince. We were worried because a previous reader had commented that Cinderella did not come to the tables, but sat on a bench outside. We were glad of the change. (Rochelle White, 2/2003)
