Fulton's Crab House at Downtown Disney is sporting a new menu, as well as a complete makeover of the lobby area, a one-of-a-kind crab map so guests can identify where their dish originated, a new and improved seafood display case, and renovations to each of the individual dining rooms on board. New Enhancements to Walt Disney World Online Dining Reservation System

effective December 16, 2010:

-- Table service restaurant reservations can now be made for up to 14 people, provided the location can accommodate that size.

-- You can book prepaid dinner shows and Cinderella's Royal Table online.

-- Various dining events are also now booking online: Candlelight Dinner Packages, Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party, Dine with an Imagineer, Flying Fish Cafe Chef's Tasting Dinner and Fantasmic!

-- You now can associate your Disney Dining Plan with your reservation.

Dine During Off Hours, Save 30 Percent

Between Dec. 19 and Jan. 3 at Disneyland Resort and between Dec. 19 and Jan. 1 at Walt Disney World Resort, you can redeem a voucher to save 30 percent with the purchase of any entrée at select restaurants. But please note that you must dine before noon or between 3 and 4:30 p.m. (and alcohol is excluded).

Downtown Disney Marketplace is the new home of Pollo Campero, an international Latin chicken quick-service restaurant, and Fresh A-Peel , which features made-to-order selections. Inspired by Disney's commitment to offer its guests great-tasting, healthful options, award-winning restaurateur Larry Levy and Pollo Campero teamed up to create Fresh A-Peel. Operating in the same location as Pollo Campero, Fresh A-Peel features a nutritious array of hot-off-the-grill items and chef-prepared salads and wraps, as well as gluten-free cupcakes and bakery treats. These eateries are located on the site of the former McDonald's at Downtown Disney Marketplace and are open daily for breakfast, 8-11 a.m., and for lunch and dinner, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

The Spice & Tea Exchange is a new 400-square-foot store-within-a-store that opened November 9 inside Mickey's Pantry at Downtown Disney Marketplace. The shop offers 42 freshly made blends of tea, as well as a variety of spices, sea salts, rice, and hand-crafted accessories. A Spice & Tea Exchange representative will assist guests at an interactive spice-blending station. Products include 12 naturally infused organic sugars, and salt selections such as pinot noir sea salt, black truffle, olive and lime-coconut. OCTOBER 2010

Kouzzina by Cat Cora (Boardwalk) will be closed for refurbishment from November 29 - December 14, reopening December 15. Enhancements are planned for many areas of the restaurant, including the lobby and the dining area. The pizza window will remain open during the refurbishment. While Kouzzina by Cat Cora is undergoing refurbishment, guests can enjoy an a la carte breakfast from 7:30am - 11am at The Flying Fish as well as regular dinner offerings at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. Those with pre-existing reservations during the refurbishment at Kouzzina by Cat Cora have already been notified and moved.

The Tomorrowland Terrace private dessert party in the Magic Kingdom has been extended until Dec. 29.

Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge recently welcomed a new chef, who is making some changes to the menu. One change of note is that the "mac and cheese" is no longer offered with the filet. However, you can still order it as a side dish (and it remains on the kid's menu).

The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort will host a wine luncheon on Friday October 29, 2010. Reception starts at 1 p.m. with five courses to follow, featuring Rianco Van Rooyen, winemaker for Orange River Cellars in the Northern Cape of South Africa and highlighting Star Tree Wines. La Hacienda de San Angel , a new waterside restaurant in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot, will have its "unveiling" on September 15. La Cantina de San Angel, the outdoor counter service restaurant at this location, will also be reopening at this time.

Tables in Wonderland has reduced the price of its new Epcot Food and Wine Festival packages called "The Grape Getaway." Packages include three nights at the BoardWalk Inn, with a 4-Day Meeting/Convention Ticket with Park Hopper Option Admission to all Grape Getaway events, along with many other extras. Packages now start at $1600 per person without accomodations or $1903 per person, based on double occupancy (includes all gratuities and applicable taxes).

The new full-service La Hacienda de San Angel restaurant in Epcot's Mexico pavilion is scheduled to open to walk-in diners September 16, 2010. La Hacienda de San Angel will open daily at 4 p.m. The menu will feature starters like queso fundido (warm cheese with poblano pepper and chorizo); a taco trio with rib eye, roasted chicken and pork; and traditional black bean soup. Entrees include a mixed grill for two with flank steak, chicken, chorizo and vegetables (a seafood version features grouper, shrimp and scallops); roasted shrimp in pepper garlic broth; flank steak with spring onions, refried beans and cactus leaves; and grilled red snapper with roasted corn and cactus leaves; and for dessert, chocolate churros, sweet tamales and fruit empanadas. Reservations will become available later in September for October 15 arrivals and later. Next door, La Cantina de San Angel, the quick-service restaurant, will reopen on September 16 and will operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The new La Cantina menu will offer chicken and beef tacos on fresh handmade corn tortillas, nachos, a cheese empanada, guacamole and chips and churros.

The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom has added three "designer hot dogs" to its menu. The taco hot dog is topped with ground beef, lettuce, salsa and sour cream. There are two versions of the reuben hot dog: one with beef, onions, peppers and melted cheese, another with more traditional corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing.

D23 Members and up to five guests can enjoy 15 percent off their meals at House of Blues Orlando just by showing their current D23 Membership card. This offer excludes alcohol, tax and gratuity, and is valid only at House of Blues Orlando though December 31, 2010.

AUGUST 2010

Trails End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness is now offering a pilot program at lunch, serving an a la carte menu instead of a buffet. Items include chili, fried chicken and waffles, sauteed catfish, grilled pork chop, spicy grilled shrimp and andouille sausage, as well as desserts such as wilderness s'mores and a warm sticky bun sundae. A vegetarian entree and no sugar added dessert option will also be available. Breakfast and dinner remain a buffet. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is adding a limited run Lunch Buffet for 14 days in September and October, complete with Disney Characters to meet and greet diners. Cost is $28.75 including tax, $15.97 ages 3 to 9, under 3 free. Dates are September 19 to October 2. Lunch hours are 12:30-2:30 p.m. Breakfast and dinner are still offered as usual.

New restaurants have been added to the Tables in Wonderland program as of August 2010. At Disney's BoardWalk Resort, Big River Grille & Brewing Works; at Downtown Disney West Side, Bongo's Cuban Cafe; at Pleasure Island, Paradiso 37; and at Epcot's Italy Pavilion, Via Napoli. The 2011 Walt Disney World Packages and Dining Plans have been announced. Price for the basic dining plan ranges from from $45.99 to $47.99 per person for adults and $11.99 to $12.99 per person for children ages 3-9, depending on the season of the booking. Disney's Quick Service Dining Plan has increased to $34.99 per person for adults and $11.99 per person for children ages 3-9. The Deluxe Dining Plan will be $78.99/adults and $21.99/children 3-9; while the Premium Plan is $169/adults and $119/children, and the Platinum Plan $229/adults and $160/children. The Wine and Dine add-on package is available again this year for an additional $39.99 per night.

Le Cellier (Canada/Epcot) to require 2 Dining Credits (Disney Dining Plan) for dinner only - beginning March 1, 2011. Lunch remains at 1 Dining Credit.

The Kona Island Sushi Bar at Disney's Polynesian Resort is now a permanent fixture, according to the Disney Parks Blog. Located adjacent to the Kona Cafe, the 20-seat sushi bar is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The new table service restaurant in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot, Via Napoli, will begin taking reservations on August 6 for September 10 and beyond . Although the "Grand Opening" celebration will be held August 5, the restaurant will be in a "soft opening" with no reservations (walk-ins only) between then and September 10, which is the official opening day. Patina Restaurant Group will operate the new pizzeria, the first authentic Italian pizzeria to ever open in the park. A unique feature at Via Napoli will be the wood-burning ovens, which are named after the three active volcanoes in Italy -- Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius and Stromboli. Each oven will be sculpted with the "face of the volcano" -- reflecting the gods whose mythology surrounds each volcano's history. The menu, which is the same for both lunch and dinner, includes wood-fired pizza in three sizes: individual; large with eight slices; and "mezzo metro," or half meter, that is 12 slices. There will be a selection of classical Neapolitan pizzas, ranging from pizza bianca, quattro stagioni, piccante, ortolano and a traditional margherita. In addition to the margherita pizza, there are several vegetarian options, including fusilli pasta in a Southern Italian-style pesto, salads, minestrone and more. The average check is estimated to be about $23 and Disney Dining Plan is accepted (one table service credit per person per meal).

The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party can now be booked for most dates through December 29, 2010. NOTE: Times may change throughout the week due to special events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but the event will still run those evenings. Price for adults is now $27.68. This nightly celebration at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station includes a self-service buffet featuring a wide-range of sweets and beverages, and exclusive viewing of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Magic Kingdom Dining News: The Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe (Noodle Station) is now offering "American Classics," such as burgers, sandwiches and salads, and chicken nuggets at lunchtime, while it serves "Asian Specialties" beginning at 4 p.m., including Orange Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. The Diamond Horseshoe is extending its hours August 15 - 28 to include dinner.

The Free Dining offer has been extended through December 21, 2010, at Walt Disney World. If you book a Magic Your Way vacation package at a Value resort (one of the All-Stars, or Pop Century), you get free Quick-service dining plan. Book a package at a Moderate, Deluxe or Villa and you can get the basic Disney Dining plan free. Offer is valid most nights August 15 through December 21, 2010, but must be booked by August 14, 2010.

JUNE 2010

The 15th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will begin taking reservations for special dining experiences at 7 a.m. on July 20, 2010. This year's festival, dubbed Delicious Discoveries, runs October 1 through November 14. There will be a dozen categories of special wine and culinary events scheduled during the festival's six weeks. New programming this year includes the First Bites Opening Reception festival preview to be held on September 30; the 3-D Disney's Dessert Discovery and the Taste, Shake and Indulge Like the French Grand Marnier tasting experience. Returning events include Celebrating Family and Friends in the Kitchen, Epcot Wine Schools, Mexico Tequila Tastings and Food and Wine Pairings. Throughout the festival, the park will present more than 25 international marketplaces where food, wine, beer and spirits lovers can sample cuisine, culture and entertainment from six continents. The new Belgium marketplace will serve Steamed Mussels with Roasted Garlic Cream, and the new South Korea marketplace will offer BBQ Short Ribs with Steamed Rice and Cucumber Kimchi. At least 250 Disney and celebrity chefs will conduct culinary demonstrations and host tasting events. In addition, the Festival Welcome Center will feature Authentic Taste Seminars and Authors without Borders weekend conversations that are included with Epcot admission. Sand Trap Bar & Grill at Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course has undergone some changes as of June 20. The restaurant, now known simply as the Sand Trap, now offers a limited menu with a full bar and cold food selection. Menu items, including sandwiches and salads, will be freshly prepared and served out of the bar. Sand Trap will now open at 10:30 a.m. and remain available until the golf course is clear.

The new La Cantina menu will offer chicken and beef tacos on fresh handmade corn tortillas, nachos, a cheese empanada, guacamole and chips and churros.

Raglan Road at Downtown Disney will open at 10 a.m. during the month of June to show World Cup Soccer games on two 50-inch TV screens. They'll serve a full Irish breakfast all day and offer happy hour drinks and food specials.

Also to accommodate World Cup Soccer viewers, ESPN Club on the BoardWalk will start serving at 10:30 a.m. for all early game days now through June 29 and July 2 and 3.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill has been designated an official viewing location for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The month-long global soccer tournament will be telecast live on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 from South Africa on the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill's large high-definition screens. In addition, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill will offer special viewing parties June 26-July 10, which will include guaranteed seating to view the matches and an all-you-care-to-eat buffet featuring buffalo wings, hot dogs, seasonal fruit, build-your-own salads, a nacho bar, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks all for $19.99 per person, per game (plus tax). Now through June 25, there is open seating for breakfast and lunch available. A special viewing area will be available for the championship match July 11. Fantasmic! dining packages are now available during lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. Lunch packages can be booked on all dates Fantasmic! is scheduled. The Fantasmic! dining package allows you to access to a specially designated seating area, without having to queue for a long time -- you can wait until 30-45 minutes prior to the show time before entering the theater. NOTE: When there are two performances of Fantasmic! on the same night, the package is valid for the first performance only. Make reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days in advance. Pick up your VIP voucher for Fantasmic! at the end of your meal.

Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge is now offering tableside after-dinner drinks on a rolling cordial cart. The cart, the only one of its kind at Walt Disney World, offers brandies, scotches, and even Rémy Martin's Louis the 13th cognac.

Tables in Wonderland has announced a special "Under the Sea Garden" Mother's Day Brunch to be held at Epcot in the Living Seas Salon on Sunday, May 9, 2010. The Salon is located on the second floor of The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion. There will be two seatings for brunch: first seating from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; second seating from 2 to 4 p.m. Price is $95 per person, plus tax. Gratuity is included. Cost is $92 per person, includes tax and gratuity. The event is limited to 50 Guests.

-- On Thursday, May 6, 2010, Jiko-The Cooking Place at Animal Kingdom Lodge will host a Wine Dinner , featuring the wines of Avontuur Estate. Reception 6:30 p.m.  Dinner 7 p.m. Price: $160 per person, including tax and gratuity.The event will be limited to 36 Guests.

The Diamond Horseshoe (Magic Kingdom, Frontierland) will be serving dinner from March 27 - April 7th. The hours are 5:00pm to 9:00pm. This will be an all you care to eat, Western themed dinner. Adult: $33.99, Child: $16.99

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Downtown Disney celebrates St. Patrick's Day "the Irish way" March 17 (and March 16, too) with bistro-style Irish food, fine Irish beers and whiskies, and live musical entertainment, including a special engagement by Elevation, a U2 tribute band, which will perform at 10 p.m., and CREEL, Orlando's "most Irish, most talented Irish Band," which will perform earlier in the day. The family-friendly, all-day party starts at 11 a.m. For a $10 cover charge for the day, you'll be given a wristband that allows you to leave and come back later if you wish. Kids under 18 are free. There will be a variety of games and giveaways throughout the day, including a "So You Think You Can Riverdance" competition.

FEBRUARY 2010

The Wave restaurant at Disney's Contemporary Resort has added a tagline to its name. It is now formally called: The Wave... of American Flavors.

The Maya Grill at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort will change its breakfast from buffet to a la carte (off the menu) beginning February 23, 2010. This change will not affect those use Disney dining plans.

The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom reopened after its rehab on February 15, 2010. The Liberty Tree Tavern has resumed its normal operation of serving lunch and dinner as a non-character location.

Carnevale Di Venezia is being celebrated at Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy pavilion at Epcot February 8-16 . Specially priced lunch and dinner menus include an appetizer, entree and dessert. Lunch ($19 per guest) will be served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dinner ($29 per guest) will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The event features cast members wearing colorful costumes and handmade Venetian masks, which will be available for purchase. Pollo Campero, an international Latin chicken quick-service restaurant chain, has partnered with franchisee Levy Campero to deliver a new restaurant concept in Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort. The restaurant will feature Pollo Campero's signature Latin chicken, as well as a new restaurant concept featuring fresh, healthy food. This new restaurant will replace the Marketplace's McDonald's, which will close its Downtown Disney location April 30, 2010.

As of February 7, 2010, Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table will now be the same as the Breakfast and Lunch character meals at the restaurant. When you arrive at the restaurant, Cinderella will welcome you to her castle in the lobby. At that time, she will pose for photos and sign autographs, then you will proceed upstairs to dine with other characters from Disney's Royal Family. (Characters subject to change without notice.) The official name for all three meals at the Castle will be Fairytale Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, and all will require 2 entitlements when using the Disney Dining Plans.

Tables in Wonderland members have the chance to book a special Valentine's Day "Chocolate Dinner" at Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney's BoardWalk, February 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. The special dining experience includes hors d'oeuvres and a plated dinner, followed by a trio of chocolate desserts: chocolate angel food cake with berries, Grand Marnier-infused Strawberry with Valrhona fondue and Chocolate-infused Flan. Cost is $160 plus tax per person; gratuity is included. A jazz trio will provide live entertainment. The event is limited to only 190 guests. New Dining Room at Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The top-rated dining room has a new “must do”: the gorgeous Queen Victoria’s Room. Queen Victoria’s Room is behind closed doors just off the main dining room. With just four tables, restaurant manager Israel Perez promises attention to your every whim. They’ve brought back French gueridon service – a gueridon is a fancy rolling cart that goes from table to table for customized service and “wow” factor – a flourish of Himalayan sea salt atop your filet, a decadent wine sauce or a lavish display of cheese, for instance.

Restaurants have been added to Tables in Wonderland 2010 dining discounts. The new additions to the list are:

Cantina de San Angel at the Mexico pavilion in Epcot, will be closed for a significant refurbishment and expansion until fall 2010. The company that operates the restaurants in the Mexico pavilion, San Angel Inn, LLC, plans to open on the site a new 400-seat waterside restaurant and quick service food location "specializing in the freshly baked culinary flavors of Mexico." During the refurbishment, the San Angel Inn Restaurante and La Cava de Tequila located inside the Mexico pavilion, and the Taqueria Del Lago, located alongside the promenade, will still be open for Mexican dining.
